A guide showing how to find all major Item Locations in Castle Morne in Elden Ring – weapons, talismans and other valuable items you’d want!
Where is Castle Morne
Castle Morne may be the southernmost location in the game. It is located at the south end of the Weeping Peninsula, which is in southern Limgrave.

Weapon Locations at Castle Morne
There are four weapons you would want to discover and pick up while exploring Castle Morne – a large sword, a leather whip, a steel wire torch and a greatsword.
Claymore
The Claimore is a straight-bladed large sword. It’s a typical two-handed sword, not that you can’t use it in one hand.
The Claymore is located in a chest in a room north of the big courtyard with the pile of bodies and Misbegottens.

If you see the pumpkin head man, you’ve gone too far.

The Claymore has a default skill “Lion’s Claw”.

You need 16 Strength and 13 Dexterity to wield the item properly. Below you can check the rest of the stats on the Claymore.

Whip
The Whip is located on a corpse close to the final Lost Grace before you reach Leonine Misbegotten inside the tower you fall down through with all the rats.

The room with the corpse that holds the Whip is in the most southern part of the castle’s interior.

The Whip comes with a “Kick” skill on it, which allows you to push enemies back. This skill is effective against shielded opponents.

To use the whip properly you need 8 Strength and 14 Dexterity. Check out the stats on this weapon below.

Steel-Wire Torch
The Steel Wire Torch is located on a corpse up at the end of the northwest-facing parapets.

You’ll need to go up the ladder behind the Pumpkin Head enemy but don’t cross the southwest parapet where the flying Misbegotten are, though there is another item that way.

Look around for a ladder to get you going to the correct parapet.
The Steel-Wire Torch has the “Firebreather” skill. This is a nice AoE fire effect.

The Steel-Wire Torch has relatively low attributes requirements. Only 10 Strength and 8 Dexterity.

Grafted Blade Greatsword
This item drops from beating the Leonine Misbegotten boss at the end of Castle Morne. Check out my guide for helpful tips on how to defeat Leonine Misbegotten boss in Elden Ring.

The Grafted Blade Greatsword has rather high attributes required to properly wield the weapon. You’d need at least 40 Strength and 14 Dexterity, showing that it is not exactly a suitable beginner’s weapon.

Talisman Locations at Castle Morne
While at Castle Morne, you can find two Talismans.
Twin Blade Talisman
The Twinblade Talisman is located at the top of a turret at the westernmost point of Castle Morne.

In order to reach it, you’ll need to climb a ladder located at the edge of the southwest parapet where all the bowing Misbegotten are. If you’ve fallen into the tower with the Whip, you’ve gone too far.

The Twinblade Talisman enhances your last hit from a combo attack.

Sacrificial Twig (and Irina’s Father)
The Sacrificial Twig is given to you by Irina’s father. He is located at a high point on the eastern edge of Castle Morne.

In order to reach him, you have to climb up to the parapet behind the Pumpkin Head man and just make your way around, crossing over where the flying Misbegotten are and making your way past the Misbegotten that are fighting the soldiers.

The Sacrificial Twig acts the same as the Ring of Sacrifice in the Dark Souls series where if you are defeated while it is equipped, you will lose the Sacrificial Twig instead of your Runes.

Other Major Items at Castle Morne
If you still want more, here is what else is worth picking up while you are at the castle.
Stonesword Key
The Stonesword Key is on a wooden platform above the southwest parapet.

In order to reach it, you must walk off the edge of the first building you land on from the nearby Lost Grace. Do not jump across to the next building.
