Caria Manor is home to Ranni the Witch and contains numerous magical Ashes of War and several sorceries. It notably contains the Sword of Night and Flame as well as the Hoarfrost Stomp Ash of War. Caria Manor does not contain any talismans, armor sets, or incantations.
Please note that this guide only contains the locations of rare and unique stuff; I didn’t note locations that just give you more common loot like crafting materials, Smithing Stones, or Golden Runes. FromSoftware likes to use the promise of an item to help show you where you can go.

How to get to Caria Manor in Elden Ring
Caria Manor is located in the northern part of Liurnia, north of Liurnia Lake. When you try to approach it, you’ll be attacked by magic arrows that rain down from the sky. They’re fairly easy to avoid, so just use your horse to gallop past them.
Ashes of War in Caria Manor
Hoarfrost Stomp
The Hoarfrost Stomp Ash of War drops off of an invisible enemy (only shows footsteps) located in the pond slightly Southeast of Caria Manor.
Chilling Mist
The Chilling Mist Ash of War drops off a golden dung beetle near the Renna’s Rise tower.
Carian Grandeur
The Carian Grandeur Ash of War is located on a corpse atop an archway in the Caria Manor courtyard.
In order to access it, you’ll need to drop down several times after passing through a doorway near the entrance to the Royal Moongrazing Grounds.
Loretta’s Slash
The Loretta’s Slash Ash of War is dropped by the Royal Knight Loretta boss who is located in the Royal Moongrazing Grounds.
Sorceries in Caria Manor
Carian Piercer
The Carian Piercer sorcery drops off of a blue dung beetle found towards the back of the courtyard area.
Loretta’s Greatbow
The Loretta’s Greatbow sorcery is dropped by the Royal Knight Loretta boss who is located in the Royal Moongrazing Grounds.
Frozen Armament
The Frozen Armament sorcery drops off of a blue dung beetle behind Caria Manor proper.
Weapons in Caria Manor
Sword of Night and Flame
The Sword of Night and Flame is located in a chamber near the center of the lower courtyard in Caria Manor.
The door to the chamber is locked from the outside, so you’ll need to drop down through the roof by dropping onto a connected roof from the parapets that are accessible from the room with the Manor Lower Level Lost Grace.
Do not try to drop down from where I’m standing in this image. I just took the picture from here so you could get a better view of the overall path. Drop down from the parapet onto the roof onto the lower roof.
Ice Crest Shield
The Ice Crest Shield is located on a corpse on a pile of rocks in the westernmost point of the courtyard area.
Urumi (whip)
The Urumi whip is located atop an outcrop of southernmost wall.
In order to reach Urumi, you’ll need to drop down from the parapets near the stairs to the elevator that takes you to the upper part of the manor.
The whip will be down the set of stairs to the right after you jump down to the wooden scaffolding.
Troll Knight’s Sword
The Troll Knight’s Sword drops off of the Troll Knight at the feet of the stairs that lead to the Royal Moongrazing Grounds.
Spirit Ashes in Caria Manor
Albinauric Ashes
These ashes are located in the cemetery to the east of Caria Manor proper near some Albinaurics (sad frog people).
Vendor in Caria Manor
Pidia, Carian Servant
This vendor is located on the upper level of the room with the Manor Lower Level Lost Grace, though it cannot be accessed from the lower level.
In order to access the vendor, you’ll need to climb down a ladder on the roof. Make your way out into the open area at the end with the 3 towers. There will be a blue dung beetle that shows you where to drop down, keep dropping down until you reach the ladder.
Other Major Items in Caria Manor
Golden Seed
The Golden Seed is located near the cliff at the base of the staircase after ascending the elevator. There are several wolves nearby.
Stonesword Key
The giant crab is feasting on a corpse that gives you a Stonesword Key. This scene is located on one of the outer turrets near the entrance to the manor.
In order to reach it, you’ll need to make your way to the entrance to the second floor where the vendor, Pidia is, but instead of going down the ladder, drop down onto the wooden scaffolding and then the lower parapet.
Memory Stone
The Memory Stone is located at the top of Seluvis’ Rise (tower). In order to gain access to the tower, you’ll need to start Ranni the Witch’s questline. She can be found in the tower next door, Ranni’s Rise. If she isn’t giving you a quest, you’ll need to talk to Fia (hug lady) and obtain the Black Knifeprint from the Black Knife Catacombs in Northeast Liurnia, then show it to Sorcerer Rogier.
Glintstone Craftsman’s Cookbook 6
This cookbook is located in a room in the outer wall at the southeast corner of the manor.
Cracked Pot
The Cracked Pot is located in the cemetery as you drop down from the wooden scaffolding through a doorway near the entrance to the Royal Moongazing Grounds. Just keep heading towards the Living Jars.
