Elden Ring Nokron, Eternal City: All Item Locations Guide

This guide will show you how to get to Nokron, Eternal City in Elden Ring and fully explore the area to find and loot all valuable items!

Nokron, Eternal City is fully accessible after defeating Starscourge Radhan, though you can access a small, lower area of it from Siofra River as well. Visiting Nokron is a key part of Ranni the Witch’s questline and grants access to some other underground areas including the Deeproot Forest, Nokstella (another Eternal City), Lake of Rot, and an elevator that allows you to go to the Moonlight Altar, a plateau in southwest Liurnia. Nokron’s major offerings include numerous Larval Tears, weapons, and several resistance-boosting Talismans themed after the Ancestral Followers.

Please note that this guide only contains the locations of rare and unique stuff; I didn’t note locations that just give you more common loot like crafting materials, Smithing Stones, or Golden Runes. FromSoftware likes to use the promise of an item to help show you areas that are possible to reach when the way to access them isn’t always immediately obvious.

Pillar Locations

Nokron features another flame pillar puzzle like the one found in Siofra River. There are 6 white pillars scattered throughout the grassy area where Ancestral Followers can be found. Each of these pillars needs to be ignited in order to grant access to the Regal Ancestral Spirit boss arena.

Flame 1

Flame 1 is located off to the left side of the main path that leads to an Ancestor beast carcass.

Flame 2

Flame 2 is located further along the main path on the left as you’re heading toward an Ancestor beast carcass.

Flame 3

Flame 3 is located directly behind the carcass of an Ancestor beast.

Flame 4

Flame 4 is located behind a large tree near the western edge of the grassy field. There is a red wolf nearby very similar to the ones you have encountered at the Academy of Raya Lucaria and at the graveyard near Caria Manor.

Flame 5

Flame 5 is located close to the northernmost point of the field near the partially submerged temple.

Flame 6

Flame 6 is located at the easternmost point in the field, a little to the right of the path leading to an Ancestor carcass. I think I’ve just doubled the amount of times I’ve said the word ‘carcass’ in my entire life.

Defeating the Regal Ancestor Spirit grants 24,000 Runes and Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor, which can be consumed for 30,000 Runes or traded to the old woman for either the Ancestral Spirit’s Horn talisman or Winged Greathorn greataxe.

Talisman Locations

Clarifying Horn Charm +1

This talisman is located at the end of the bridge that originates from the arena where you fight the Mimic Tear.

Mottled Necklace

The base version of the Mottled Necklace is technically in Nokron, but it’s only accessible through the portal labeled Night Sky Unceasing in the Four Belfries teleportation area in western Liurnia.

Mottled Necklace +1

This talisman is located on what was once part of the roof of the temple that now houses the carcass of the Regal Ancestral Spirit.

Spirit Ashes Locations

Greatshield Soldier Ashes

The Greatshield Soldier Ashes can be found in the southern part of a graveyard in southwest Nokron.

Mimic Tear Ashes

Found in a room in western Night’s Sacred Ground that requires a Stonesword Key to unlock.

Armaments

Crucible Hornshield

The Crucible Hornshield drops off a Crucible Knight in northern Nokron. It’s possible this item has a chance to drop off any Crucible Knight, but there is one here and that’s how I got my shield.

Gargoyle Greatsword

Drops off the Gargoyles boss alongside the Gargoyle’s Twinblade.

Gargoyle’s Twinblade

Drops off of the Gargoyles boss alongside the Gargoyle’s Greatsword.

Nox Flowing Hammer

The Nox Flowing Hammer can be found on the upper levels of the eastern temple in Night’s Sacred Ground. Accessing it requires getting onto the roof of the building and entering through a window.

Ghostflame Torch

The Ghostflame Torch is on top of a roof at the very beginning of Nokron. You have to drop down through where the falling star hit (so warp to Fort Haight West) and drop down. You’ll need to make a couple of scary jumps to reach the roof starting from where I’m standing in the second picture.

Incantations

Order Healing

The Order Healing Incantation drops off of a gold dung beetle in northwest Nokron.

Ashes of War

Ash of War: Enchanted Shot

This Ash of War is dropped by a dung beetle at the northern edge of the Ancestral Woods.

Armor

Silver Tear Mask

This mask drops off of the defeated Mimic Tear.

Larval Tears

Larval Tear Location 1

This Larval Tear is located inside a building in southwest Nokron.

Larval Tear Location 2

This tear is located in a gazebo in southwest Nokron, right before you reach the Mimic Tear boss arena.

Larval Tear Location 3 (x2)

You receive 2 Larval Tears for defeating the Mimic Tear boss.

Larval Tear Location 4

The 4th larval tear location is in a building in Night’s Sacred Ground (lower city area).

Other valuable Items in Nokron

Ancestral Infant’s Head

This reusable item (stored in the tools tab of your inventory) is located at the far end of the partially submerged temple in the Hallowhorn Grounds area.

Black Whetblade

The Black Whetblade can be found in a temple on the eastern side of Night’s Sacred Grounds.

Celestial Dew 1

Celestial Dew 2

The second Celestial Dew in Nokron is located down the main thoroughfare of Night’s Sacred Ground.

Great Ghost Glovewort and Fingerslayer’s Blade

A Great Ghost Glovewort and Fingerslayer’s Blade can be found in a chest beneath a giant’s throne in Night’s Sacred Ground. The Fingerslayer’s Blade is what Ranni is looking for. You can find her atop Ranni’s Rise in Caria Manor.

Missionary’s Cookbook 5

Missionary’s Cookbook 5 can be found inside a building towards the northern edge of Nokron, right past the Ancestral Woods.

Ghost Glovewort Picker’s Bell Bearing 1

This item can be found on a corpse at the steps of a gazebo in the central courtyard where you enter Nokron.

Stonesword Key

A Stonesword Key can be found atop a ledge behind the carcass of the Regal Ancestor Spirit.
