There are so many updates about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and I am going to start off with the Disneyplus series that were announced at the San Diego Comic Con 2022.

It was no secret that Marvel was going to make big revelations about their latest phases. So we now know the following:

Obviously, Phase 6 will be expanded in the coming months and years but for now, this is the list of announcements of Marvel at the SDCC.
Next, let’s take a closer look into the first TV Shows coming in Phase 5 and focusing on Agatha, Daredevil and She-Hulk.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos
Agatha Harkness stole the show in Wandavision. With her sly manipulations, she really got to Wanda. In Wandavision it was shown that she absorbed all the powers of the witches in her cove and now she has her own show called Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
She tried to fight Wanda to absorb her powers but ultimately failed and as a punishment, Wanda made Westview her jail.
Katherine Hahn an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
Daredevil: Born Again
We should have guessed that Daredevil was coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. First, all the Marvel Netflix shows were pulled and put on Disneyplus. Then Charlie Cox has a cameo in Spiderman: No way home on top of that Charlie Cox will voice Daredevil in Spiderman: Freshman Year. And now his triumphant return was announced at the SDCC.
And the title of his show is taken from a classic Daredevil tale: Daredevil: Born Again. The story picks up when Netflix’ Daredevil wakes up in a church after defeating The Hand and a nun is sitting beside him.
We all know it’s Matt Murdock’s mother but Daredevil was canceled and now it’s uncancelled so we finally get to see the classic story on the small screen. The show will have 18 episodes and will start streaming in 2024.
She-Hulk’s new trailer meets Abomination
She-Hulk’s premiere is only a few weeks away and Marvel figured it was time to drop another trailer to warm the audience up even more. In this trailer She-Hulk takes on Abomination, a role reprised by Tim Roth.
A special guest star is none other than Benedict Wong, Sorcerer Supreme (on a technical difficulty) and at the end we see someone with nunchucks and that one is our special cameo: Daredevil.
With Daredevil showing up in Spiderman both live-action and animated and now showing up in She-Hulk, I am starting to wonder if Daredevil is taking on the role Nick Fury and Claire Temple once had and bringing back all the characters together at some point.
Nick Fury put together The Avengers and Claire Temple (played by Rosario Dawson) brought The Defenders together.
Echo coming to Disney Plus
We first met Echo in Hawkeye season 1 and while she is originally a Daredevil ally, she made her debut elsewhere. She now has her own show, which is a spin-off from Hawkeye.
Echo was running the Tracksuit Mafia before finding out that Wilson Fisk / Kingpin was the one responsible for her father’s death and not Hawkeye.
Wilson Fisk is the archnemesis of Daredevil, so don’t look too surprised if you see Daredevil make a cameo in Echo’s own series which will premiere on Disney plus in the summer of 2023.
Loki returns for Season 2
Loki will pick up where the show left off and continue to create mischief and chaos in the summer of 2023. In the first season finale, He Who Remains was killed by Sylvie and now Loki will deal with the fallout of that.
Kate Herron, who helmed Loki, will not return citing: “It’s a lot for one director to do six hours, particularly in the Marvel way. We didn’t have the showrunner system. We ran this like a giant film, which I’m forever grateful for and was a massive opportunity for me. But I threw so much at it, and it’s a lot.”
