This guide will show you all of the weapons and cyberware that the main characters in the Edgerunners TV Show use and how to find and get them in Cyberpunk 2077!
It’s impossible to create a build that perfectly matches the main characters’ builds from the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, but you can get the gear they have and use it!
I am going to focus on the items, not on character builds as some of the gear is used by more than one person in the TV series. I’ll start with Cyberware, then list the Weapons and finally, I’ve got some bonus items for you.
I’ll include and talk about the highest rarities of the items in this guide, but most of them you can find in lower rarity as loot or available for purchase at vendors in Night City.
Please note that the damage values in the screenshots below are not representative of how good each weapon is. The images are from different stages of my game progression and from across multiple save files. Through leveling and upgrading, you can get each gun to perform great and they all have unique playstyle, so it’s worth absolutely giving them a try!
Sandevistan Cyberdeck (Cyberware Operating System)
One of the most iconic cyberware upgrades leads off the list of items. David Martinez, the main protagonist of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, uses this throughout the whole series.
Sandevistan, also known as Sandy, is an Operating System cyberware implant. It allows the user to move much more quicker than their opponents.
In the game we have a number of different models of the Sandevistan cyberdeck available:
- Qiant “Warp Dancer” Sandevistan MK.5 (Iconic)
- Militech “Falcon” Sandvistan MK.5 (Iconic)
- Qiant Sandevistan MK.4 (Legendary)
- Dynalar Sandevistan MK.4 (Legendary)
- Zetatech Sandevistan (only up to Epic in the game)
Which one of the Operating Systems is the best chrome for your build, that’s up to you. The one that has the potential to come closest to the David Martinez Build you may be going for, however, is the one that offers the lowest cooldown, with the help of mods and skill perks, of course. That would be the Qiant Sandevistan MK.4 legendary model.
For the rest, you can check out my guide on Locations of all Legendary and Iconic Items in Cyberpunk 2077.
The Qiant Sandevistan MK.4 cyberdeck is available for purchase from Fingers the ripperdoc. Note that if you make certain choices towards this NPC during a specific story mission, he may later refuse to serve you any more.
Syn-Lungs (Circulatory System Cyberware)
In Episode 4 David starts to put on more chrome on his body. We see a Syn-Lungs operation he is going through at his ripperdoc.
In Cyberpunk 2077 you can get Syn-Lungs legendary cyberwar for the Circulatory System slot. This one requires high Body Attribute, just as we saw in the anime – David is training hard with and without Lucy’s help to bulk up.
David’s Syn-Lungs 04 model increases stamina by “only” 10%, while the legendary version of this cyberwar in the game will boost yours with 25%. A legendary Sin-Lungs implant is in stock at the ripperdoc clinic in south-west Welsprings in Heywood.
Gorilla Arms (Hands Cyberware)
The Gorilla Arms is a cyberware that replaces the user’s regular human hands and turn them into a chrome-enhanced melee fighting machine.
This is the type of Cyberware that we see Maine using in Edgerunners. In a chat with him, David admits that he also wants to get himself equipped with such a powerful Arms cyberware.
In fact, in the later episodes, we see David packing a punch with a new set of Gorilla Arms. That’s one of the items that is used by more than one character for sure.
You can purchase the Gorilla Arms cyberware from the Ripperdoc clinic in the south-west corner of Wellsprings in Heywood.
Projectile Launch System (Arms Cyberware)
Continuing with Maine’s equipment, he’s also packing a Projectile Launch System. This is cyberware that allows him to shoot explosive rockets out of his arms.
David also gets this cyberware implant later on. We see him using it in Episode 7 where they invade Totentanz, the club where Maelstrom gang members like to hang out.
Unfortunately, in Cyberpunk 2077 you cannot combine Gorilla Arms with Projective Launch System on the same character. These are cyberware items that occupy the same slot – the Arms slot.
You can purchase the Projectile Launch System cyberware from the Ripperdoc clinic in the southwest corner of Wellsprings in Heywood.
Kiroshi Optics (Ocular System Cyberware)
In Cyberpunk 2077 almost every character has one or another kind of optics cyberwar. The Kiroshi Optics MK.3 is one of the best implants you can get in the game.
You can purchase the epic version of this ocular system cyberware from Victor in Little China, Watson.
Crusher (Power Shotgun)
In the early fight scenes, Maine is using the Crusher Power Shotgun. We see him making a mess from the body of a Maelstrom gang member in Episode 4 using this weapon.
The Crusher Power Shotgun is available at the Guns’O’Rama store in south-east Rancho Coronado.
Ba Xing Chong (Smart Shotgun)
Maine uses a slightly modified version of the iconic smart shotgun Ba Xing Chong in the last moments before the flatlines. This gun completes Maine’s arsenal of personal favorite weapons.
If you are going for a Maine build, this smart shotgun is a great resource of heavy power to help you not only withstand damage coming from opponents (Main is a great tank), but also dish out insane amounts of it towards them.
The crafting spec for the iconic Ba Xing Chong shotgun is in a metal container in Adam Smasher’s room on board the Ebunike.
You can pick it up at any time during or after the side job “Chipin’ In”. The Ebunike ship is at the Ebunike Docks in Northside, Watson. The green merker on the map below is the exact location of Adam Smasher’s room.
Netwatch Netdriver (Netrunner Cyberdeck)
If you are going for a Netrunner, like Lucy and Kiwi from Edgerunners, you would want an Operating System cyberware such as the Netwatch Netdriver MK.5 legendary item in Cyberpunk 2077.
I will list all Legendary options, just fo the sake of being more detailed in your options:
- Tetratronic Rippler MK.5
- Raven Microcyber MK.4
- Stephenson Tech MK.4
- Fuyutsui Tinkerer MK.3
- Netwatch Netdriver MK.5
- Arasaka MK.4
We don’t know the exact model that Lucy and Kiwi are using, but the Netwatch Netdriver MK.5 is probably the best one in the game if you are going for a Lucy build.
Because the options are too many here, check out the complete Legendary and Iconic Gear Locations Guide I have available. Below I will only list the location for the Netwatch Netdriver MK.5 cyberdeck.
The Netwatch Netdriver MK.5 legendary implant you can purchase from the Ripperdoc clinic in Wellsprings in Heywood.
Monowire (Arms Cyberware)
Monowire is a cyberware very unique to Lucy. She is the only character we see in the Netflix Anime that uses this chrome package.
Monowire is a whip-like wire that slashes enemies, literally. It’s incredibly powerful in combination with a time-slowing effects. You can get time-slows from Sandevistan, Kerenzikov or Skill Perks.
This item is also very successful at both melee and short distance as the wires extend quite far ahead in a wide cone in front of V and have a very nice AoE effect as well.
The Monowire is available for purchase from the Ripperdoc clinic in the south-west corner of Wellsprings in Heywood.
Mantis Blades (Arms Cyberware)
One of the best, most exotic and most memorable melee weapons – the Mantis Blades. Heavily featured in promo footage prior to the game’s launch, this arms cyberware is only briefly used by David in the XBD when JK kidnaps him and forces him to be a test money for his BDs.
The Mantis Blades was first seen in the teaser trailer released back in 2012 featuring Melisa Rory as the cyberpsycho girl that gets captured by MaxTac and later converted to be a member of that same team, as we learn from a secret (and probably unfinished) side mission in Cyberpunk 2077.
The Mantis Blades arms cyberware you can get from the Ripperdoc clinic in the south-west corner of Wellsprings in Heywood.
You can equip a mod to make the effect of the blades unique and deal Fire or Electticity damage.
Guts (Iconic Power Shotgun)
Guts is the name of Rebecca’s favorite shotgun. We see her showing it off in a scene where the gang celebrates on the parking lot in front of Turbo’s diner in Episode 7.
Note that this weapon in the image above does not quite match the visual of Guts from the game. I have some doubts that this is another gun Becca is juggling in front of the crowd, but it could be that the developers of the game decided to use a resource already available in the game to create this gun instead of molding another one.
This iconic gun was placed in the game as a free loot with Patch 1.6. I also included it in my guide to all new weapons from Update 1.6.
You can find it on the ground in the bushes behind the monks in Corpo Plaza in City Center.
Rebecca uses several types of guns in different episodes, but this is the most famous and most fun one, I think. Plus, it’s new. Its effect is very unique as well. Guts is an iconic variant of Carnage.
Prototype: Shingen Mark V
Continuing with Rebecca’s arsenal. We see her use a lot of different weapons and weapon types. Her favorite is Guts, no doubt, but in Episode 7 we also see her wielding two weapons at the same time.
One of them matches the visuals of the Iconic Prototype: Shingen Mark V from the game.
You can find this iconic smart submachine gun in a box inside a metal container in the Arasaka Industrial Park.
The Arasaka Industrial Park is in Arroyo, Santo Domingo. There is a Fast Travel terminal on the southeastern side of the complex.
You visit this area as part of the main storyline, but you can go get the gun at any point. Note that it’s a hostile area.
HJSH-18 Masamune (Power Assault Rifle)
The Massamune power assault rifle is one of the two guns we see Rebecca wielding in Episode 7 where the edgerunners fight against Maelstrom gang members in Totentanz.
The HJSH-18 Masamunerifle is available for you to purchase from the Weapons merchant in west Wellsprings in Heywood.
This rifle is available for purchase from the Weapons vendor in west Wellsprings in Heywood.
There is an iconic variant of this weapon that looks the same, but is has a unique perk and has a different color scheme. It’s called Prejudice.
This is a gun you pick up at the Afterlife, but it does not carry over in your save after the Point of No Return in the main story. Becca us a big fan of Rogue’s, as we can see in the scene where her and David visit Afterlife and meet her (brief scene where Rogue is laughing). This is one of Rogue’s guns in the game.
Lexington (Power Pistol)
Lexington is a power pistol, serving as a basic piece, suitable for a newby edgerunner to carry something, just in case. The first time we see it, is the moment when Maine gives it to David. Later in the show we see other characters using this type of pistol as well.
This pistol is available in different rarities and forms in Cyberpunk 2077. I will list the M-10af Lexington legendary variant. The variant we see in the show, has a custom color, but it’s the same weapon nonetheless.
You can purchase it at the Mobile Camp weapons vendor east from Rocky Ridge Fast Travel in the Badlands.
Lexington is a basic weapon. No wonder David himself trash-talks it in front of the new recruit Julio in one of the later episodes of the show. It’s a nice gun, but nothing too special about it. What’s special, is the Satara shotgun!
Satara (Tech Double-Barrel Shotgun)
Satara is one of the most memorable weapons (at least in my memory) from the pre-launch marketing materials CD Projekt Red released for Cyberpunk 2077. In Edgerunners the Satara is mentioned in the episode where David and his crew visit Totentanz for a gig.
David gives this tech double-barrel shotgun to the new recruit Julio, who has been boasting about with his Lexington up until those moment.
You can purchase this weapon from the weapons shop “Lots of Guns” near the NID: Docks fast travel terminal in Northside, Watson.
In the past you were able to purchase directly a Legendary variant from this guy, but while revisiting the locations for this guide, he only spawned up to Epic for me. You can easily Craft or Upgrade this weapon, though.
Pride (Iconic Power Pistol)
During that same XBD in Episode 5 where David is forced to experience JK’s insane braindances, David uses a power postol a few times.
It looks very similar to one of the Pride Iconic power pistols available in Cyberpunk 2077:
It could, of course be a more generic gun, but it’s most fun to play Cyberpunk 2077 with a Legendary and/or Iconic weapons because of the extra special perks and effects they have. That’s why I listed these three.
I only recognized this pistol in this XBD scene, so I will not bother listing a way to find any of them in this guide. If you follow the links in the mini-list above, they will take you to the full Legendary and Iconic Gear Locations guide that I have. There you will find the details on how to obtain these power pistols if you like them.
Unity (Power Pistol)
Lucy carries a pistol that looks very much like a Unity variant when they chase JK to save David.
So, Lucy is a Netrunner, but she also uses a pistol and can run fast. She’s got it all.
The legendary Unity power pistol is on sale from Wilson at the 2nd Amendment Store in the Megabuilding where V’s apartment is in Little China, Watson District.
Lizzie (Tech Pistol)
In Episode 4 we see Rebecca “welcoming” David to her apartment with a pistol to his head.
This gun looks very similar to both Lexington (modified, maybe) more likely the Iconic Lizzie. It’s got a different color scheme. Lizzie is black and purple while Becca’s pistol has silver and purple.
You will find Lizzie on top of a table in the back room of Lizzie’s Bar on your way to Judy’s Braindance studio.
Overture (Power Revolver)
In Episode 5 Dorio is seen to use a revolver that resembles almost perfectly the iconic Overture power revolver available in the game.
The legendary Overture Power Revolver is in stock at the weapons vendor in Arroyo in Santo Domingo.
The Amnesty Iconic Power Revolver is a great alternative. It looks very similar, but is… well, more unique.
Flashbang Grenade
This Flashbang Grenade is used by Pilar in Episode 4. We only see it in a brief moment, but I thought I’d include it, just because Pilar gets neglected almost completely when it comes to gear we can match from his arsenal of chrome and weapons with things available in the game.
Flashbang Grenades can be used to blind enemies or as a distraction. They can be looted, purchased from multiple vendors and crafted. You can get it at Victor’s shop.
Bonus
Here are a few more interesting items that are not weapons or cyberware, but are part of the show and iconic for the Cyberpunk universe and especially in the game.
Turrets
In the final episode of the show we see Adam Smasher using a gun from a turret. You can pull these guns out of turrets in Cyberpunk 2077 as well, but this is not a normal earnable, purchasable or craftable weapon. It’s more of a situational thing. Thanks to Anonomyous’ comment for reminding me of this. I’ve included it here because it’s part of both the show and the game but isn’t a “gun to play with regularly” really.
Alvarado V4F 570 Delegate
The Alvarado car is available for purchase from Padre in Cyberpunk 2077. This is a variant of the car that we see in Episode 3, the one that Maxim Kuznetsov drives for his boss Tanaka.
JK’s Car
Jimmy Kurosaki (JK) drives a Caliburn model car. We see it in Episode 5 as JK walks to his car, but gets ambushed by the edgerunners. You can get a black Caliburn car in Cyberpunk 2077 for fee.
This concludes my complete guide to all Weapons and Cyberware from Edgerunners in Cyberpunk 2077. Ifyou have found another weapon or piece of chrome that you can match and I have missed, please add it in the comments or send me a message with images at info@vulkk.com. Thank you!
