There are 16 different daggers scattered throughout the Lands Between, this Elden Ring Daggers catalog will show you all of them, their stats and descriptions and the exact location where you can find them!
The Guide is up-to-date for Patch 1.10
Daggers are small and have short blades, making them light and easy to swing. Since you can swing them quickly, they’re great for applying status effects like Poison or Bleed, though there are other factors that greatly affect status effect buildup besides swing speed.
Daggers also typically deal the most critical damage out of any weapon type, so if your build has lots of opportunities to perform critical hits, usually either as a result of being stealthy or breaking guards, it’s probably worthwhile to use a dagger.

Farming Tips
If you come across a dagger used by an enemy and you want to have it too, you’ll have to take down that enemy over and over again until you get the item to drop. There are a few things you can do to make the process more efficient.
A big part of speeding up the process is increasing your Discovery stat, which governs the chance that enemies will drop something upon being defeated. Discovery can be increased directly, but it is also increased with your Arcane stat. 1 point of Arcane gives you 1 point of Discovery, so most of your benefits will come from things that boost Discovery directly.
