Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Crypt of Uhrma Puzzle Guide and Sutaban Alpha Legendary

This guide shows you how to solve the pillars in the wall puzzle inside the Crypt of Uhrma on Jedha in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Behind that wall, you will find the legendary Sutaban Alpha predators as well as a few collectibles!

How to Solve the Crypt of Uhrma Puzzle

First, head to the Crypt of Uhrma on Pilgrim’s Path. If you have already been there, use fast travel to the meditation point. It will put you outside of the crypt.

This is what the entrance of the crypt looks like. Go inside the crypt. It is a very small place so you can’t get lost.

Continue for a few steps until you see a strange wall. This wall contains eight pillars that can be pulled or pushed with the Force. You must pull the correct ones, but how to know which ones?

Note: You can solve the puzzle without discovering the clue to the correct pattern. Skip a few paragraphs further down the guide if you don’t want to go looking for the clue yourself and just solve the puzzle by using the correct pattern to pull the right pillars out.

Do not waste your time looking around for nearby clues. The answer is close, but not that close.

To find the clue/answer to the puzzle with the pillars, return to the crypt’s entrance and take the small road on the left. Run through the wall, climb to the big metal structure, and then jump to the next wall.

There’s only one way you can go up so do not stop until you get to the top where four imperial soldiers are stationed. It looks empty, right? Well, it is but your answer is on the horizon. Walk to the edge of the mountain.

Once there, you’ll be able to see the pattern that is needed to open the mysterious gate.

Return to the crypt and pull the first and fourth pillars of the first row and the second and third from the second row. Doing this will open this gate.

Before heading to the breakable door on the left side of this image, remember to grab the extra stim that is right across the room. Then use the Force to open the small door and continue.

If you want more, we have a guide to all Stim Locations in Jedi Survivor to help you collect all Stims and be ready to heal through just about anything.

Immediately after getting out of that room, you’ll see your friend Skoova Stev fishing as always. Remember to talk to him so that another fish is added to the fish tank at Pyloon’s Saloon.

We’ve got a full guide to all Fish Locations if you want to collect them all. Then continue walking, you will see a green barrier.

This is the part of the Crypt of Uhrma puzzle that you can complete when you first discover the crypt during your second visit to Jedha.

For the next segment, which involves finding and defeating the legendary Sutaban Alpha, you will need the ability you earn as part of the main mission to reach Pilgrim’s Sanctuary (a little later after you first stumble onto the Crypt’s location)

How to defeat the Sutaban Alpha on Jedha

The Sutaban Alpha is visually intimidating but its moves and attack patterns are the same as a usual Sutaban. However, it hits a lot harder than any other Sutaban you’ve encountered so don’t underestimate it.

Sutaban Alpha

Wait for it to attack, evade its powerful strikes, and hit it back when it’s getting back to its feet. Do not forget to collect the force essence at the back of the cave!

After beating it, the Sutaban Alpha entry will be available in your tactical guide.

And last but not least, the Gambler perk is now unlocked. It increases the experience gained but you may not restore it by attacking an enemy that previously killed you.
