This guide will show you how to pick up the rumor to locate the Odd Pair in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, where to find Tulli Mu and Bhima Ook on Koboh and how to save and recruit them!

How to Discover the Rumor

With Rumors being optional in Star Wars Jedi Survivor, you do not need to actually go pick it up. You can just go explore Koboh on your own and stumble on the two characters that you have to locate.

The rumor is called “Locate the Odd Pair”. Talk to Moran in the Pyloon’s Saloon Cantina in Rambler’s Reach Outpost. Moran is at the bar, on the far side of the room, near the back door leading to the kitchen and basement.

You may have to talk a few times to Moran until he shares this rumor with you. He is an odd and secretive fellow and will not talk much to you at first.

Where to Locate the Odd Pair

Moran told you that he saw the strangest due on the far side of the Valley. If you have the rumor active, you will have the marker placed in the Boiling Bluff area.

The closest Meditation Point is Fort Kah’lin. This is the place you fight the Spawn of Oggdo and get a Poncho outfit. It’s also one of the top locations to farm Skill Points early in the game. You could also walk, run or ride a Nekko, of course.

From the Untamed Dawns, head through the yellow (if you haven’t been to the region) mark and enter the canyon.

When you reach the end, you will start hearing two voices screaming and asking you to help them. Activate the Boiling Bluff Meditation Point, then mount one of the nearby Nekko creatures and jump up on top of the left plateau.

Double jump with a Nekko

Note: On the other side of the Meditation Point, you can pick up a Skill Point by interacting with the Essence on the nearby ledge.

The voices are asking for help because they are pinned down by a Mogu up there. You have to defeat it.

Get to the Mogu

Despite what the Tactical Guide tells you, if you manage to cut off the Mogu’s arm (let it grab you and hang you upside down), the creature will become more ferocious but also easier to beat.

Fighting the Mogu

Recruit Tulli Mu and Bhima Ook and unlock the Holotactics minigame

After defeating the Mogu, just jump up and talk to the two fellows. Their names are Tulli Mu and Bhima Ook. They will thank you for your help and you will recruit them to come down to the Pyloon’s Saloon cantina.

This unlocks the mini-game on the second floor of the cantina called Holotactics Game Table. You can test your skills in it by fighting virtual creates from your Tactical Guide against other opponent’s characters and creatures and win various rewards such as resources and currencies to spend on vendors, some nice outfits for Cal and more.

We have a very comprehensive guide for Holitactics in Jedi Survivor. In it you will learn everything you need to know about this mini-game including how to unlock all opponents and our tested and proven winning strategies to beat each of them!

This concludes my guide on how to discover the rumor to locate the odd pair on Koboh and how to save and recruit Tulli Mu and Bhima Ook.
