This guide will help with completing the Fractured Resolve Force Tear in Star Wars Jedi Survivor. Force Tears are additional challenges you can complete while exploring!

Where to find the Factured Resolve Force Tear

This Force Tear is one of the earliest you can find and complete in Jedi Survivor and you can find it in the Swindler’s Wash, in Rambler’s Reach on Koboh. Head to the right from the Swindler’s Wash Meditation Point and drop off the bridge.

Follow the water upstream until you reach a waterfall with a cave behind it. This cave is low enough that it can be jumped into, so don’t worry about falling. Jump or climb into the cave behind the waterfall and you can begin this Force Tear.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

This Force Tear is a Parkour Puzzle, where you’ll have to navigate across the Platforms to reach the end. The puzzle part comes from the lethal barrier being sent your way from the very end of the puzzle area.

This barrier will shift which side it covers each time you jump or climb, so you need to be mindful of when and how you jump.

This Force Tear doesn’t require anything beyond planned movement to complete. Even if you have additional movement options available, basic running and jumping are your best friends here.

From the start of the area, jump on the platforms and follow them to the left. Make sure that the white half of the barrier is also on this side, as the barrier will likely be approaching you at this point, depending on how soon you left the starting point.

After it passes continue forward hopping across the platforms. The next set of platforms coming up on the right are unstable and will begin to fall moments after you step onto them. You’re fine to pause on these briefly if needed but try not to linger on them too long if you can help it.

Continue forward hoping up the small set of steps here, after this comes a slightly more tricky part where you’ll need to play it fast or safe.

How to Complete the Fractured Resolve Force Tear

This section is made up of four sets of platforms on each side, with only the first of these being stable and the second of these being shared in the middle.

To do this quickly, you can single jump from platform to platform. Only the jump off the final set and onto the sloped surface will matter if timed well. Just make sure you’re on the white side of the barrier when sliding as it’s difficult to fit extra jumps in here safely.

How to Complete the Fractured Resolve Force Tear

I you want to play it more slowly, Double Jump onto the stable platforms on the side that is currently white. Wait for the barrier to pass before making the next hops and you’ll be able to very easily reach the sloped surface in time before the next barrier. Again, just make sure when you’re sliding you’re on the correct side.

For this final section, you’re sliding down slopes. I recommend double jumping between them while slowing your forward momentum. This is a little slower overall but much safer than switching sides with each jump between the slopes.

You’ll still need to be wary of the timing of the barriers, as they do tend to hit in the middle or end of the second slope.

If it lands earlier than that, make sure you jump off the final slope is lined up with the currently unsafe side of the barrier, so when you jump to the end you’re not getting clipped at the very end and have to restart.

Once you land on the final platform, you’ll be safe from the barrier. Walk up to and collect the reward from the pedestal to complete the challenge.

For your skillful platforming, you’ll be rewarded with an additional Skill Point. However, Force Tears are one-time-only collectibles. This means completing this challenge again will not award further Skill Points. If you’ve collected it, the entry point will be Gold instead of Purple.
