How to prepare for the Force Tear Challenges
Some of the Force Tear challenges are puzzles that you have to solve quickly, smartly and often using parkour gameplay. Others task you to defeat specific enemies or waves of enemies.
Some of the Fractured Force Tear challenges featuring combat encounters can be incredibly tough to beat, while others feel like a walk in the park. To better prepare for the tough ones, I highly recommend that you gain as many Skill Points and improve your HP and Force meter. Here are our guides to the locations of all of the above:

You can also read through our guides to Lightsaber Stances and Pairing Builds to find out what Perks to use with each build, what Abilities to invest Skill Points into early and some fine tips and tricks.
Fractured Agility Force Tear Location
The Fractured Agility Force Tear is located in the Derelict Dam at the Dredger Gorge in Koboh. It is very close to the Meditation Point so it’s relatively easy to find. However, if you haven’t unlocked the shortcut it’s going to take a little more effort.
If you have already unlocked the shortcut, it only requires a few dozen steps to get to the elevator. All Fractured Force Tears don’t show up until you’re very close to it so keep this in mind for this and the rest.
The Fractured Force Agility challenge is a parkour puzzle that requires good timing and fast reflexes to be completed successfully.
Fractured Burden Force Tear Location
The Fractured Burden Force Tear is one of the easiest to access. Simply fast travel to the Gorge Crash Site Meditation Point on Koboh.
A few meters ahead, you’ll see an elevator. Activate it and immediately step out of it.
You’ll see a door on the floor, use Force Slam to open it and go inside. Force Slam is an ability you will learn during the main story mission on the Lucrehulk.
Unfortunately, that was the only easy part of this challenge. Prepare to fight three of the toughest legendary enemies at the same time: The Mire Terror, Gorocco Matriarch, and Vile Bilemaw.
The Mire Terror will charge at you first while the other two watch but this will last only a few seconds. Never lose sight of any of these enemies, if you focus too much on the one you have in front, a second one will attack from a different angle.
My best advice is to attack one of these mighty beasts (preferably The Mire Terror) for a few seconds and then reposition before getting cornered by two or even all three of them. Attempting to defeat your enemies with raw power is a bad approach, be patient and methodical.
Fractured Delusion Force Tear Location
The Fractured Delusion Force Tear is located at the Foothill Falls in Prospector’s Folly on Koboh. It is in a very accessible location but there’s something you must do first.
Look for this building that is behind Doma’s shop. Lots of cameras will pop up as soon as you get close.
Once inside, interact with this character that is suspiciously nervous. He will open the door so you can go downstairs.
There’s Force Essence and a body in a strange position. Interact with it, you will have to fight the odd-looking guy that you just met. Only after you’ve done this, the Fractured Delusion Force Tear will be available.
Behind Doma’s shop, there’s a wall with vines that you can get to with the ascension cable. Grapple to the floating balloons, jump to the wall, and then go inside the small mine entrance that’s at the top. The Fractured Delusion Force Tear is inside.
This fight will consist of fighting multiple waves of enemies. The last will include a couple of DT Sentry Droids which shouldn’t give you too much trouble in comparison to some of the other fractured challenges.
Fractured Duality Force Tear Location
The Fractured Duality Force Tear is located on Rambler’s Reach Outpost. Go to Pyloon’s Saloon’s garden and look for the tower behind the saloon.
Use the vines of the tower to climb all the way to the top.
The Fractured Duality Force Tear is located at the top of the tower.
This fight requires you to defeat standard enemies like Stormtroopers and BX Commando Droids using only the Double-Bladed Lightsaber stance.
Fractured History Force Tear Location
The Fractured History Force Tear is also at Rambler’s Reach Outpost. Just go to Doma’s shop. To unlock it, you must first defeat the Spawn of Oggdo.
You will see a strange frog with a glow. Interact with it.
The Fractured History Force Tear will pop up after this.
Did you hate facing Spawn of Oggdo? Well, I’m happy to inform you that this challenge requires you to face both Spawn of Oggdo and Oggdo Bogdo himself. On the bright side, there’s a lot more space to maneuver and run.
Most of the time one of the frogs will stand before the other, making it more likely that only one of them is in range to attack you. This doesn’t mean that you can lower your guard, both of them can two-shot you so be extremely careful.
Having more room to move is certainly nice but the frog demons are still some of the toughest opponents Cal Kestis has ever faced.
Fractured Momentum Force Tear Location
The Fractured Momentum Force Tear is located on the Smuggler’s Tunnels right under Pyloon’s Saloon.
After a little parkour and getting through some barriers you’ll find the Fractured Momentum Force Tear.
This is a platforming challenge that requires awareness and good timing in order to be completed.
Fractured Power Force Tear Location
The Fractured Power Force Tear is located at the Marl Cavern on Prospector’s Folly. However, you can fast-travel to the Fogged Expanse Meditation Point.
Take the elevator that is behind the Meditation Point.
Use the ascension cable to get to the other side. There’s a platform with a few Scout and Stormtroopers, take them out, and continue to the cavern.
Walk on the wall to get to the next platform and then use your ascension cable on the floating balloon.
Jump to the apparently empty mine entrance.
The Fractured Power Force Tear will reveal itself as soon as you land on the ground.
This fight requires you to defeat Scout Troopers, Bedlam Raiders, a Bounty Hunter, and wild beasts using only the Crossguard Lightsaber Stance.
Fractured Punishment Force Tear Location
The Fractured Punishment Force Tear can be found at the Devasted Settlement on Koboh. An easy way to get there is by using Fast-travel to the Grand Courtyard Meditation Point.
Use the Relter on one extreme of the temple and fly to the exact opposite side. Your goal is to land as close as possible to the big golden cube.
The Fractured Punishment Force Tear is inside the cube.
To complete this challenge, you only have to defeat two Sutabans and three Rawkas.
Fractured Resolve Force Tear Location
The Fractured Resolve Force Tear is found in the Swindler’s Wash, in Rambler’s Reach on Koboh.
Go right off the Meditation Point and head down to a small cave. The Fractured Resolve Force Tear is hidden down there.
This challenge is a Parkour Puzzle that demands going through all platforms and avoiding the barriers.
Fractured Cunning Force Tear Location
For the upcoming four locations, we’re going to Jedha. The Fractured Cunning Force is at the Timeworn Bridge on Pilgrim’s Path. Fast-Travel to the Meditation Point to make things easier.
Walk past the door, and go to the level above as the picture below indicates. There are a couple of Stormtroopers and a DT Sentry Droid in the area.
There’s a metal door that can be opened with a simple Force Pull. Go inside and use your ascension cable to leap to the roof.
From there, you’ll have to do a few parkour jumps to get to the top of this area. Continue walking until you’re in a dark corridor.
There’s a green barrier between you and your objective, get to the other side. The Fractured Cunning Force Tear is visible the moment you walk into the room.
For this challenge, you must face and defeat Scout Troopers, Bedlam Raiders, and a Haxion Brood Bounty Hunter using only the Blaster Lighsaber stance.
Fractured Determination Force Tear Location
The Fractured Determination Force Tear is located at the Desert Ridge in the Narkis Desert. The easiest way to get there is by using fast travel to the Anchorite Base Meditation Point, then taking a Spamel to the Force Tear Location.
There’s a green barrier on the canyon wall, it’s visible even from far away. It shouldn’t be hard to find.
This is another platforming challenge and in my opinion, the most fun one due to how many things and micro-mechanics must be taken into consideration when doing it.
Fractured Dexterity Force Tear Location
The Fractured Dexterity Force Tear is located at the Blustery Mesa on the Pilgrim’s Path. Fast travel to the Crypt of Uhrma Meditation Point.
Go inside the chamber on the right side of the meditation point.
Defeat the Stormtroopers and then continue upstairs until you exit this site.
Turn left and walk on the wall, you must drop to get to the lower level.
After a couple of steps, you’ll see a green barrier. Head down and go through it.
The Fractured Dexterity Force Tear is right under the tomb.
For this challenge, you must defeat standard enemies using only the Dual Wield Lightsaber stance.
Fractured Tradition Force Tear Location
The Fractured Tradition Force Tear is at the Monastery Walls on the Ancient Ruins. This is near the second Meditation Point you unlock on Jedha.
Use the columns to avoid touching the ground. You might be stronger now but this Skriton will still eat you for breakfast. Get to the room on the far left.
Turn right and slide down. Prepare to use your ascension cable as soon as you’re in range. Once you’re on the second level, continue advancing until you see three big pillars and a wandering Sutaban.
Use the pillars to get to the other side of this destroyed monastery.
You can now interact with Fractured Tradition Force Tear and begin the challenge.
Battle Droids, Bedlam Raiders and Imperial Troopers are the enemies that you must defeat using only the Single Lightsaber stance.
Fractured Endurance Force Tear Location
The Fractured Endurance Force Tear is the only one located on the Shattered Moon. Go to the Assembly Staging on the Abandoned Foundry.
You have to complete this small parkour puzzle. Be careful with the electrified walls, if something delays you it’s better to wait for a few seconds so you have a better time window.
Walk over the wall to get to the other side and then turn right.
Hang on to the metal tube and wait until there’s no fire. We don’t want Cal to end as a fried Porg. The Fractured Endurance Force Tear is right around the corner.
This fight is extremely fun and a good opportunity to show off your lightsaber skills. The goal is to defeat one hundred and fifty B1 Battle Droids. At first, all of them will have melee weapons but as you progress they’ll appear with blasters and grenades.
Fractured Malice Force Tear Location
I saved the best for last, the Fractured Malice Force Tear is located on Coruscant. Go to the Rooftops of Coruscant Undercity. The first time that you were here happened during the first ten minutes of your Star Wars Jedi Survivor Gameplay.
Go inside this room. This was one of the first times that you used Force Push to open a door. Use Force Lift to open this sealed door.
What’s worse than one Rancor? Two Rancors!!! These Rancors are just as powerful as the first Rancor you faced on Koboh. They are very fast and powerful, this is no challenge for the weak.
They have the same attacks as the one on Koboh. This means that if one of them is able to grab you, you’re done.
These monstrous enemies are deadly but their attacks are telegraphed and relatively easy to dodge withl all the mobility that Cal has. Don’t go for combos that last too much, fight smart, and most importantly, don’t underestimate them!
Once you’ve finished all Fractured Force Tears, the “Blood, Sweat, and Tears” achievement will be unlocked. Congratulations!
