What’s new in Update 2.0
Skill trees are a fundamental part of Cyberpunk 2077, our gameplay will be severely affected by the skills that we choose. This free update redesigns all skill trees and perks.
Everything will function differently. All your skill points will reset, but to make things a little easier, a build planner has been released so you can start getting familiar with how the new system will work.
The cyberware and capacity systems have been revamped. Vehicle combat and car chases have finally been introduced. In addition to this, we’re also getting a new police system and improvements to combat AI. These and other changes were addressed during the August livestream.
It doesn’t stop there, there will be UI and UX improvements, changes to loot, items and the crafting system, and even new radio stations. Some changes are small while others completely change the game but it doesn’t matter what playstyle you prefer, we’re all getting new ways to play Cyberpunk 2077.
On September 21st we will have an in-depth overview of all changes coming with Update 2.0. There is so much that has changed, even veteran players may feel disoriented and lost if they load up their 50/50 characters after to resume their activities in Night City.
What’s new in Phantom Liberty
The new paid expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 will areive with a lot of new content for those who want to prove themselves in the never-sleeping Night City.
Dogtown, also known as The Combat Zone, part of Pacifica, is a new dangerous district where the new story will take us. It has its own set of rules, and only the strongest survive there.
The official trailer introduced two of the main new characters, it doesn’t reveal anything regarding the story but you can try to predict how some things will play out.
Obviously, there will be new missions, weapons, cosmetics, boss fights, and more. Phantom Liberty is also introducing vehicles with missile launchers, making the car chases and combat even more fun for those who love to wreak havoc while driving a badass ride.
A brand-new Relic skill tree with unique abilities will give us even more options that combined with the proper build could make the player an unstoppable force. Well, to a certain degree because the level cap is getting increased (level 60).
We might be getting a lot of new options to combat but the NPCs of the game will also get stronger, it will be a kill-or-be-killed scenario when fighting the toughest enemies.
As soon as the embargo is lifted, we will have out review of Phantom Liberty. In it, we will share all the details you would want to know about this upcoming expansion. Of course, the spoiler section will be clearly marked, so you can read safely only the parts that are safe for people who have not yet experienced Dogtown and the new storyline.
