This guide will show you the locations of all four new Tarot Cards available in Dogtown, Night City’s Combat Zone, released with Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty Expansion!

What are Tarot Cards

Tarot Cards in Cyberpunk 2077 are collectibles that you can discover by scanning murals on walls scattered all around Night City.

In the base game there are twenty Tartot Cards available for collecting in the open world and two additional ones are awarded for completing the game in one of its various endings.

With the release of Phantom Liberty, the first and only expansion to Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED added four more Tarot Cards to the collection. They are all available in Dogtown and not too hard to discover and earn while exploring The Combat Zone aka Dogtown.

When can you get the Tarot Cards in Dogtown

To get the four new Tarot Cards, you have to own the Phantom Liberty expansion. Its starter mission begins automatically when you reach a certain moment in the story and you cannot refuse it.

Songbird will contact you with a request to meet her at the main gate of Dogtown. We have a full guide on how to start Phantom Liberty and access Dogtown, so below I will only briefly explain the main points.

When you meet up with Songbird at the gate, she will lead you through a side entrance through a semi-opened industrial door. Once inside, you will be on rails following the story’s path without yet being able to explore Dogtown properly.

You will go through the unfinished stadium, also known as “the construction zone”, After you rescue the president of NUSA Rosalind Myers, you will stumble upon the first Tarot Card inside Dogtown.

Tarot Card Locations in Dogtown

One card is actually outside the borders of Dogtown, the other three are inside. All locations are described in detail in this section of this guide.

You can collect the three cards inside Dogtown during or after the main job “Lucretia My Reflection”. We have a full guide and walkthrough for that mission as well, as you might have guessed.

It doesn’t matter which cards you will pick up first. They are all available in the open world of Dogtown, which is accessible right after you get to the safe house with Meyers.

The locations of the Tarot Cards are marked on your map with a blue Tarot Card icon Tarot Card icon. If the marker is not visible, you may have to switch your filters on the Night City map or simply go closer to the specific location.

To best describe some of the locations, I use missions and characters as references. Although the spoilers are very minimal and should not ruin your experience overall, I recommend you use this guide after you have completed the main story of the game.

Tarot Card icon King of Cups Tarot Card Location: Dogtown Main Gate

The King of Cups Tarot Card is actually located outside the borders of Dogtown. It’s at the main gate. The closest Fast Travel Point is the Stadium Parking.

The card is on the right side of the metal fence wall as you look directly into the main gate of Dogtown. You pass through it literally for the intro mission for Phantom Liberty where you have to meet and talk to Songbird for the first time.

When you go to scan it, be careful not to upset the guards. Dogtown’s main gate is heavily guarded. If you happen to aggro them for some reason, you can run away. They stop chasing you about a hundred meters away from the gate as soon as you take one of the streets leading into the rest of the city.

Tarot Card icon King of Pentacles Tarot Card Location: Kress Street Apartment

After you save Myers, you accompany her to a safe house in Dogtown – an apartment in an abandoned building on Kress Street. This happens during the mission “Lucretia My Reflection”.

Right after you exit the elevator and before you enter the apartment (or at any point after this mission), you can scan a mural on the right wall across from the apartment’s entrance. This will give you the first Tarot Card from Dogtown – the King of Pentacles.

Tarot Card icon King of Wands Tarot Card Location: Near the basketball court

Near the sitting area of the basketball court, which is located on the hill across from the Kress Street Fast Travel Point, in the eastern part of Dogtown, you will find the next Tarot Card.

The King of Wands is on the wall overlooking the basketball court.

Tarot Card icon King of Swords Taroc Card Location: Dark Alley near The Moth

The final Tarot Card is located in a back alley on the side wall of The Moth, in the most southern part of Dogtown. This is right across from the Longshore Stacks Fast Travel Dataterm.

From the bottom of the stairs leading up to The Moth, go west into the dark back alley, pass the white Militech crates and look for the mural on the left wall of the building with the restaurant.

Right next to the mural, there is a door. This door leads to the hideout where you go with Reed and Alex to make plans for how to get Myers out of Dogtown as part of the main story.

Tomorrow Never Knows Mission

Obtaining all four of the tarot cards from Phantom Liberty will allow you to go talk to Misty about them and complete the side job “Tomorrow Never Knows”.

Hidden Achievements in Phantom Liberty (Spoilers)

The names of the four new tarot cards are identical to the four secret achievements you can unlock by completing the Phantom Liberty storyline in four different ways.
