This guide will show you how to start one of the secret missions in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty – a scavenger hunt to solve the mystery of the broken robot 1R-0NC-LAD (Ironclad) in Dogtown’s stadium!
Where to find 1R-0NC-LAD in Dogtown
To start this secret side mission, you have to own Phantom Liberty and get access to Dogtown first. After you first make your way through Dogtown’s wall, you will arrive at the huge market inside EBM Petrochem Station.
You may notice some sparks flickering from one of the open shipping just past the hole in the floor, right before the stairs down to the vehicle display area.
If you continue forward and exit on the other side of the container, you will be quite close to one of the Militech Data Terminals that will grant you a Relic Point. It’s a few meters down the path, hidden in the niche behind two golden statues.
How to talk to 1R-0NC-LAD to start the mission
Inside the container, you’ll find a laptop and the source of the sparks, a broken-down robot with the designation 1R-0NC-LAD.
The laptop will tell you to jack in. Doing so will let you interface with the poor, helpless robot and start the quest.
There isn’t a proper quest or mission marker this time around. Instead, 1R-0NC-LAD will text you saying he needs your help finding some boxes containing the critical components required to repair him. The only information you get is a small picture that’s effectively a screenshot of somewhere in the stadium.
There are 5 boxes in total that you need to find, and he’ll text you the location of each as soon as you’ve found the previous one and notified him. After you turn in each box, you’ll get to read a message from.
Where to find the 1R-0NC-LAD Containers
This segment will show you the exact locations of all five containers 1R-0NC-LAD has given you hints for in his messages.
1R-0NC-LAD First Container Location
The first box is located outside the deButcher shop, on one of the upper catwalks to the right of the Netrunner vendor.
Look for this 
icon for the Netrunner vendor on your map next to the 
icon for the food vendor and you’ll find the right spot.
1R-0NC-LAD Second Container Location
The second box you need to find for Ironclad is located near the meds vendor. It’s in a more secluded area connected to the same catwalk where you found the first box.
The entrance is opposite the Netrunner vendor. Look for the 
pill icon on your map.
1R-0NC-LAD Third Container Location
The third Ironclad box is located inside another box on the right side of Herrold’s Black Market stall in between some improperly stored munitions and a set of stairs.
Herrold is the guy with the missing mouth. The 
map icon for his store is unique. You can see part of his body in the far left of this shot.
1R-0NC-LAD Fourth Container Location
The 4th Ironclad Box has arguably the least helpful image. It’s hidden behind some of the stacked weapon crates at the back of Sophia’s gun shop. Look for the 
gun vendor icon on your map.
The box is over near the crates behind the janitor’s yellow mop bucket.
Keep your eyes peeled for a John Wick easter egg while you’re over at her store too!
1R-0NC-LAD Fifth and final Container Location
The 5th and final box you need to find for 1R-0NC-LAD is located behind the counter of an unmarked eatery that’s halfway up the stairs past the vehicle display area near a few advertisements.
You can see the Militech Basilisk tank in the back of this shot and the box peaking out from behind the purple advertisement on the fight.
You can grab it from the advertisement side, but you can also (disrespectfully) hop over the counter into the kitchen area.
What do you get for completing this Scavenger Hunt
After you discover the fifth and final container, you’ll need to return to Ironclad and upload the data from this box directly, and then you’ll have a choice to make.
I recommend reading through all the files on the laptop and the computer before making your decision.
If you have enough points allocated to Intelligence, you will get the option to reprogram Ironclad with a new objective and set him free.
Completing the scavenger hunt mission for 1R-0NC-LAD will give you no reward, apart from eventually reviving and freeing the robot, of course. This reminds me a lot of the secret mission in the center of Night City where you encounter the girl from the first Cyberpunk 2077 trailer.
