How to unlock the “Dogtown Saints” gig

“Dogtown Saints” is a side job in Cyberpunk 2077′ expansion Phantom Liberty. It can only be unlocked after completing the main quest “The Spider and the Fly“.

This gig is located less than a block away from the Black Hearts Club (southwest). Mr. Hands will ask to find his client, a man called Odell Blanco that’s having some issues with the Scavs.

How to unlock the "Dogtown Saints" gig

Talk with Odell Blanco

Odell Blanco is in fact a priest, he and Dr. Anderson help people in need with implants and medicines. As you’ll notice, their situation is extremely dire. Blanco says that they only survive thanks to generous donations but that’s not what he called you for.

A girl named Nika and her Scavs have kicked everyone out but the Dr. If something happens to him all of the patients will be screwed. The objective is to get inside, find out what’s happening, and protect the Dr.

Infiltrate the clinic and eliminate all enemies

The front door can only be opened if you have at least 16 points on your Body Attribute stat. If you don’t, then head to the left side of the building. There will be some Scavs guarding that area, so be prepared.

There are four enemies in this area, the two who are near dumpsters will not move from their positions.

There’s a sniper patrolling the area, every few minutes he comes out of the broken window of the second floor. The last one is behind the gate on the far left of the next image.

It’s not easy to spot him from the distance but trust me, he’s there. My suggestion is to take the two that are exposed first, then eliminate the guy behind the gate, and then wait for the sniper to come out.

After eliminating these four Scavs you can enter the building through the door that’s next to the gate. Be careful, going in without caution will instantly have multiple enemies shoot at you from multiple angles and that can be very annoying, especially if you’re playing on higher difficulties.

There are five enemies inside, the Scav that’s next to the blue crate will be in your immediate line of sight after crossing the door so he’s the one that must be taken down first if you want to be discrete.

Due to the angle of the photo, it might not be easy to spot the guy I’m talking about, but he’s the third one from left to right.

After clearing the main area look for this door and go downstairs.

A few remaining Scavs are waiting around the corner for any intruders, take them down and then go to the end of the hallway, then turn right. You’ll hear two people arguing behind a door, go inside.

Meet Nika and Dr. Anderson, then make a decision

Here’s where you’ll find Dr. Anderson and Nika, she’s looking for her brother. She’s pointing at him with a revolver and doesn’t look like she wants to calm down.

The first choice of this conversation will not change any outcome, the next dialogue will be the same regardless of what you pick.

This is when things get interesting. You can either draw your weapon or actually tell the Dr. that you’re not going to help him.

What happens if you draw your gun and shoot Nika

I don’t recall any other mission where V. looked so biased before knowing the entire story. Anyway, drawing your gun automatically makes Nika start shooting at you.

After killing Nika you’ll learn more about this odd Doctor. He kills patients who are agonizing and then takes their implants to install them on patients who have a chance of survival.

Nika’s brother was one of these “donors”. Once you’ve learned about the shady practices of the doctor the patients can return to the clinic and the mission will be over.

What happens if you don’t kill Nika

If you let the conversation continue, then Nika will start to hit Dr. Anderson. after he confesses that he flatlined her brother to take away his parts for other patients. Attempting to separate them will have the same result as pulling your gun on Nika.

You can also choose to do nothing, but Dr. Anderson will die as a result of the beating. Keep in mind that while he might not be the embodiment of what a good doctor is, many people still need his talents to survive.

Picking the first two dialogue options will result in a “happier” ending. Anderson will continue to live (as his will patients), and Nika will walk away with her brother’s body. After dealing with this situation the patients will return to the clinic, the only exception is if Anderson dies.

While exiting the building, you will find Nika crying in the morgue next to the body of her brother. Even Johnny feels bad for her but this is what makes it even stranger for me.

Since the beginning of the mission, you get the impression that the game almost forces you to empathize with Nika, which is weird considering she is a Scavenger.

Her gang literally kidnaps people and removes their cyberware, it’s ironic that Dr. Anderson did (almost) the same thing to her brother.

Leaving the clinic will end the mission but it will only count as a successful one if Anderson survives. Assuming this is the case, you can return a few days later and find him working on his clinic again.

Since Anderson is a ripperdoc you’re now able to buy cyberware from him or have something removed/installed.

This completes our guide to the gig “in Dogtown “Dogtown Saints”. This is an easy and simple mission, but it has a heavy impact on you with the moral choices it places before you.
