This is a detailed guide showing you where and how to obtain all parts of the Legendary NCPD Badge Set in Cyberpunk 2077.

This guide is up-to-date for Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3

Clothes, Armor and Outfit Sets in Cyberpunk 2077

The game doesn’t have armor sets with set bonuses like some other traditional RPGs have. Here in Cyberpunk 2077, you can still get a full set of clothing, but it’s mostly for looks outside of small stat boots on some pieces. There are six slots for clothes you can put on your character.

  • Head
  • Face
  • Outer Torso
  • Inner Torso
  • Legs
  • Feet

There are also full-body outfits that override the items you have equipped. They aren’t too common and tend to be used whenever disguises are required for the story.

Most sets don’t have six items, including the NCPD Badge set, which consists of 4 official pieces. However, there are 2 unofficial pieces of police armor that match the rest of the set. The NCPD Badge set is not tied to any locked or exclusive areas.

Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.6 added the Wardrobe feature, allowing you to wear outfits and look how you want while still getting the desired minor stats from your equipped gear. You don’t need to hold onto any of the clothing you acquire for outfits. As soon as the item enters your inventory, it is permanently unlocked in your Wardrobe.

Who are the NCPD Badges in the Cyberpunk universe?

The original universe of Cyberpunk is designed as world from the future, but as seen from the eyes of the people from the 80s. In the game Cyberpunk 2077, Night City is teeming with gangs like the Tyger Claws, Valentinos, Maelstrom, and Voodoo Boys.

The Night City Police Department (NCPD), commonly referred to as Badges, is full of officers who are just corrupt and violent. Many denizens think of them as nothing more than a government-sponsored gang rather than a peacekeeping force working to protect Night Citizens.

NCPD Badge Set Overview

Below, you can take a closer look at the visual style of the NCPD Badge set in Cyberpunk 2077. These images also feature the unofficial helmet called the Police Helmet with Anti-Shrapnel Visor helmet on the Male V variant.

How to get the NCPD Badge Set

The NCPD Badge set consists of 4 pieces of clothing, available as free loot in the world of the game. Following the instructions below, you can obtain the glasses, jacket, pants, and boots.

Note: All of these items are included in the massive Cyberpunk 2077 Legendary and Iconic Items Locations List and Locations Guide. You can find more unique and fantastic-looking items for your taste and needs there.

Official NCPD Badge Pieces

These 4 items are part of the official NCPD Badge set. You can tell because each legendary set has an identical quote from a Night City Legend.

Holo-Tinted Badge Goggles (Face)

You can loot the NCPD sunglasses from a deceased cop behind your apartment in Northside, Watson. You’re after a little cove that’s framed by buildings.

Heavy-Duty Aramid-Reinforced Badge Coat (Outer Torso)

You can find the NCPD badge bulletproof vest, undercoat, and utility belt as one piece that hides the Inner Torso.

It can be looted off a corpse at what appears to be a failed attempt to apprehend a criminal at a house near the southern edge of Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo.

Anti-Puncture Neotac Badge Pants with Composite Lining (Legs)

You can loot the matching NCPD Badge Neotac pants from a deceased cop in a recessed walkway near a side road on the northwest side of Little China, Watson.

Waterproof Badge Combat Boots (Feet)

You can loot not one but two pairs of boots from a couple of formerly living NCPD Badges that have been laid to rest near a pile of garbage at the base of the Petrochem Dam.

Look for the little outcropping with the Ripperdoc at the southern edge of Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo.

Unofficial NCPD Attire

There are a couple of police-themed pieces of clothing that match the NCPD Badge outfit but aren’t officially part of the set.

Police Helmet with Anti-Shrapnel Visor (Head)

You can purchase the Police Helmet with Anti-Shrapnel Visor from the clothing vendor at West Wind Estate, Pacifica.

This vendor is conveniently located right next door to the brand-new entrance to the Project Cynosure Facility that you tour with Songbird and the Cerberus Unit during the mission Somewhat Damaged.

LED-Lined Police Jacket (Outer Torso)

If you want a police jacket with a little more NC flair, look no further than the LED-Lined Police Jacket! You can purchase it from the clothing vendor in Rancho Coronado, Santo Domingo.

This concludes my guide on how to get the Legendary NCPD Badge Set in Cyberpunk 2077. There are a lot more items to discover in the game, so check out more Cyberpunk 2077 Guides here on VULKK.com!
