This guide will show you what the Iron Rivet Armor, Red Bear Claws and Pelt of Ralva look like, along with the Roar of Rugalea Incantation, what stats they provide, and how to get these items in Elden Ring’s DLC Shadow of the Erdtree!

Red Bear Set Visual Overview

I’m dubbing this the Red Bear set because it matches the name of the weapon and effectively describes the clearly intended ensemble. The Red Bear armor set in Elden Ring is available exclusively in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

It has all 4 pieces (helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves). The images below feature the Pelt of Ralva helm and Red Bear’s Claw weapon equipped and dual-wielded.

Here’s what the set looks like with the actual helm from the Iron Rivet armor set, called the Fang Helm.

Iron Rivet Armor, Pelt of Ralva, Red Bear Claws, and Roar of Rugalea Description and Stats

Iron Rivet Armor Set

The Iron Rivet Armor set has a combined weight of 18.4 with the Fang Helm, which goes up to 19.3 if you opt for the Pelt of Ralva instead (weapon not included).

Pelt of Ralva

The Pelt of Ralva is the unique piece obtained elsewhere, but it matches the fur on the rest of the pieces that come from the same other source. It says it enhances Bear Communion, referring to the Roar of Rugalea.

Red Bear Claws

The Red Bear’s Claw is part of the new Beast Claw weapon class. Dress like a bear, act like a bear. Its unique skill is reminiscent of the Stormwind Ashes of War.

Roar of Rugalea

The Roar of Rugalea is an Incantation that works like Dragon Communion Incantations, but instead of making a dragon head appear, you get Rugalea’s the Great Red Bear’s head instead.

This Incantation is considered a Bestial Incantation, and will benefit from the Clawmark Seal. It also receives a boost from the Pelt of Ralva because of the whole bear communion thing.

Where to find Iron Rivet Armor, Red Bear Claws, Pelt of Ralva, and Roar of Rugalea

The Iron Rivet Armor and Red Beat Claws, Pelt of Ralva, and Roar of Rugalea are all found at different locations.

Iron Rivet Armor Set and Red Bear Claws Location

You can loot the Iron Rivet Armor (with Fang Helm) and the Red Bear Claws from the Northern Nameless Mausoleum, which is located on the butte to the west of Castle Ensis.

The map above shows the path to get from Highroad Cross on Scadu Altus to the Spiritspring (horse vortex jump) that takes you up to the butte with the Northern Nameless Mausoleum with the Red Bear (man) inside.

You need to go through a cave north of Moorth Ruins, into a little poisonous graveyard, underneath Scadu Altus, and then into the canyon between it and Rauh Ruins. The Spiritspring is right next to the map for that region as well (marked by the orange square).

Pelt of Ralva Location

You’ll need to defeat Ralva, the Great Red Bear, to get its Pelt. In order to reach it, you can return to the Highroad Cross and head down the road to that same fork, but head to the little lake above the cave with the Erdtree in it.

Roar of Rugalea Location

You receive the Roar of Rugalea Incantation after defeating Rugalea, the Great Red Bear, near Scorpion River, north of the Temple Town Ruins and the map for Rauh Ruins.

This whole place is a nightmare. You got a bunch of Runebears and their literal mounds of feces on one side of the river. On the other side, you got a bunch of Spider-Scorpions, and hovering over the river are several FLYING SPIDER-SCORPIONS!

You can completely avoid even seeing the Spider Scorpions if you stick to the right side of the river. You don’t have to fight them or go over there at all, as there aren’t any items in their midst.
