Visual Overview
The Gravebird armor set in Elden Ring is available exclusively in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It has 5 pieces (helm, 2 chests, gauntlets and greaves). Also shown are 2 Spirit weapons (Curved Sword and Glaive), which are thematically related.

Gravebird Armor Set and Spirit Weapon Stats and Locations
Each piece of the Gravebird armor set and the Spirit Weapons can be found in a different location near a flock of Gravebirds.
Gravebird Armor Set Stats and Locations
The combined weight of the base Gravebird set is 13.3, and the Blackquill chest adds 1.4 for 14.7, which can push you out of Light Equip Load territory at 50 or 60 Endurance. It’s part of the 4th lightest weight class for armor sets in the game.
Gravebird Helm Stats and Location
The Gravebird Helm boosts the damage dealt by the Sorcery: Rings of Spectral Light by 15% to compensate for being unaffected by the Prince of Death’s Staff.
You can loot the Gravebird Helm from atop an altar at the elevator in the upper part of the Spiral Rise that exits out to the picturesque walkway leading to the Cleansing Chamber at Enir-Ilim.
Gravebird Blackquill Armor Stats and Location
The Gravebird Blackquill Armor chestpiece features wings that look like a cape and a midriff. It offers a 10% damage boost to jump attacks (vs the Claw Talisman’s 15% buff).
You can loot the Gravebird Blackquill Armor chestpiece at the base of a stone sarcophagus at the end of a procession of perched Gravebirds at Rauh Base where the watermelon Kindred of Rot lurk.
They are not scarlet.
Gravebird Armor Stats and Location
The standard Gravebird armor is functionally an altered version of the Gravebird Blackquill version. It loses the long wing sleeves and damage boost to jump attacks in exchange for being slightly lighter and exposing more of the Elden Lord’s smokin’ bod.
You can loot the regular Gravebird Armor chestpiece from a stone sarcophagus north of the lake with the Ghostflame Dragon and Belurat Gaol on the Gravesite Plain.
Gravebird Bracelets Stats and Location
The Gravebird Bracelets are a pair of lightweight stone bracelets.
You can loot the Gravebird Bracelets from a corpse on the Gravebird dais on the path to the Suppressing Pillar on the Gravesite Plain.
Gravebird Anklets Stats and Location
The Gravebird Anklets consist of an Egyptian mummy’s loincloth and some stone anklets.
You can loot the Gravebird Anklets from the poison swamp area north of Moorth Ruins on Scadu Altus that leads to Rauh Base. You have to go through the Minor Erdtree cave beneath Ravla, the Great Red Bear’s pond.
If you still want to look hot but would rather not look like you’re wearing a diaper or running around barefoot, I recommend using the Duelist Greaves instead. They are farmable in front of the Lyndell Colosseum, though only before you defeat Maliketh.
Spirit Weapons and Rings of Spectral Light Stats and Locations
There are 2 Spirit Weapons. In addition, there is a Sorcery: Rings of Spectral Light that is directly associated with and cast by the Gravebirds, which I have also included here.
Spirit Sword Stats and Location
The Spirit Glaive is a Curved Sword that scales with Intelligence in addition to Strength and Dexterity and has a Unique Skill: Rancor Slash, that causes a few skulls of freezing Death Rancor to spew out whenever you land a hit.
The only difference between the Spirit weapons is their weapon class. Unfortunately, Rancor Slash is pretty lame, and the Spirit Sword cannot compete with other weapons that scale with both the Intelligence and Faith already required by a Necromancer build.
You can loot the Spirit Sword from a Demi-Human corpse in the easternmost part of their alcove along the Cerulean Coast.
Spirit Glaive Stats and Location
The Spirit Glaive is a Halberd that scales with Intelligence in addition to Strength and Dexterity and has a Unique Skill: Rancor Slash, that causes a few skulls of freezing Death Rancor to spew out whenever you land a hit.
The only difference between the Spirit weapons is their weapon class. Unfortunately, Rancor Slash is pretty lame, and the Spirt Glaive cannot compete with other weapons that scale with both the Intelligence and Faith already required by a Necromancer build.
You can loot the Spirit Glaive from a corpse at the northernmost edge of Charo’s Hidden Grave, overlooking a Furnace Golem and a flock of electric sheep.
Ring of Spectral Lights (Sorcery) Stats and Location
Rings of Spectral Light is not an official Necromancy, so it doesn’t benefit from the Prince of Death’s Staff’s damage boost, but it’s listed with the rest of those Sorceries and is a pretty direct upgrade over Ancient Death Rancor in every way but hitstun.
You can loot the Rings of Spectral Light Sorcery at the base of a giant Gravebird statue near the Death Rite Bird in the middle of Charo’s Hidden Grave.
We have a complete catalog of all Armor Sets and associated weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. You will find high-quality images of the front and back of every armor set and its altered version (if one is available in-game) as well as all associated weapons, seals, shields and other gear and items that belong to the same set.
At the end of each set, you will also find a link to a more in-depth guide about it, including even more images from more angles, lore descriptions, stats comparison, and tips on when, how, and why to use each item.
