This guide will show you what the Divine Bird Warrior armor set and Horned Warrior Swords look like, alongside the Divine Bird Feathers and Ash of War: Crucible Wings, what stats they provide, and how to get them all in Elden Ring’s DLC Shadow of the Erdtree!
Visual Overview
The Divine Bird Warrior armor set in Elden Ring is available exclusively in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It has all 4 pieces (helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves). Pictured alongside its weapons of choice, the Horned Warrior’s Swords.
I hope all those horns on their heads grow in exactly the right spots…
Armor Set and Accessories Descriptions and Stats
The gear related to Divine Bird Warriors includes the Divine Bird Warrior Armor Set, Divine Bird Feathers Incantation, Ash of War: Aspects of the Crucible: Wings, and Horned Warrior’s Swords.
Divine Bird Warrior Armor Set
A few pieces of the Divine Bird Warrior set have some unique effects. The Divine Bird Helm boosts the damage dealt by Divine Bird Feathers (Incantation) by ~10% and grants +3 Strength and +4 Dexterity at the cost of -45 Focus (Madness, Sleep Resistance) and reduces the healing dealt by your Crimson Flasks by ~9% (73 HP at max Golden Seeds).
The boosts to Strength, Dexterity, and your clout among ornithologists are why you wear this helmet. The Resistances barely ever matter, and you can heal yourself with Incantations instead of Crimson Flasks.
The Divine Bird Warrior Greaves also supposedly have an effect to increase kick force, but do not appear to have any noticeable effect, at least according to the Albinaurics willing to answer the survey after participating in the experiment.
Divine Bird Feathers Incantation
The Divine Bird Feathers Incantation allows you to shoot feathers, but they’re barely stronger than regular bird feathers, even with the Divine Bird Helm, and you can’t unleash them while flying like our fine, feathered friends can.
Ash of War: Aspects of the Crucible: Wings
The name of this Ash of War is literally wider than the wingspan of the person using it.
Horned Warrior Swords
The Horned Warrior Swords are actually Curved Swords, and you only need to equip one to dual-wield them. You’ll pull out another sword when you attempt to two-hand the weapons.
They come with a Unique Skill to summon more horns on the sword and rise from the ground beneath your target’s feet. It’s the same thing they do to you, but horni— with more horns.
Where to find Divine Birds
I suggest checking out your local pet store after doing thorough research about the breed you want. Some can live for as long as people and they won’t survive in the wild. Are you ready for that kind of commitment? Are your ears ready?
Golden Divine Bird Habitats
According to the information available, the lustrous Divine Birds do not like to be around people, which is why you can only find them at Enir-Ilim and Rauh Ruins. If you’re in the area, I recommend visiting the First Step or Outer Wall to farm domesticate one.
You’ll find Horned Warrior Swords wherever Divine Birds, Beast, and Horned Warrior supplies can be found.
Divine Bird Feathers
The local birdwatching club recently found some Divine Bird Feathers on a human corpse near a gazebo at Rauh Ruins (West). Authorities say the suspect is still at large, and I’ve just received word that we have some photos from the scene of the crime.
How to Fly in the Shadow Realm
There are some startling reports coming from the Fort of Reprimand that one of the inmates decided to escape using giant wings that–and this may sound strange, but we’ve verified it–spontaneously sprouted from the inmate’s back!
Unfortunately, the “bird-man” did not survive the apprehension attempt undertaken by the warden, B.K. Eldredd.
Mr. Eldredd issued a statement that he was not injured, but he hasn’t been feeling well since the close encounter with the inmate and that he feels like he has the flu. He has advised other prison staff to stay away until he recovers.
