Endonae by Endonae|

This guide will show you what the Divine Beast Warrior armor set and Horned Warrior Greatsword looks like, what stats it provides, and how to get it in Elden Ring’s DLC Shadow of the Erdtree!

Visual Overview

The Divine Beast Warrior armor set in Elden Ring is available exclusively in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It has 2 unique pieces, the helms and chest, while the gauntlets and greaves are from the Horned Warrior set.

The enemy itself uses the Horned Warrior Greatsword. You’ll see previews with the Divine Beast Helm and the Divine Beast Head.

The Divine Beast Helm is a smaller, appropriately scaled version of the Divine Beast Head. The former is worn by the Divine Beast Warrior enemies while the latter is the head of the Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss.

Divine Beast Warrior Armor and Accessories Stats, and Locations

This section covers the Divine Beast Warrior Armor Set, Divine Beast Head, and Horned Warrior Greatsword. For more information on the Horned Warrior set and Curved Swords, check out our dedicated guide.

Divine Beast Helm and Divine Beast Warrior Armor

The Divine Beast Helm is the smaller version of the Divine Beast Head. It offers +3 Strength and Dexterity. In exchange for 6 levels worth of XP, it offers offers no Focus, reduces your total Focus by 45, and reduces healing from your Flask of Crimson Tears by 9%.

Combined with the Horned Warrior Gauntlets and Greaves, the full Divine Beast Warrior set has a combined weight of 25.6, not including the sword. It is part of the 4th heaviest weight class alongside the other Horned Warrior and Knight sets.

You can only loot the Divine Beast Helm and Divine Beast Warrior Armor from Divine Beast Warriors, which you can only find in select locations at Enir-Ilim. The best place to farm the Divine Beast Warrior armor pieces is back down the stairs from the Spiral Rise Cross Site of Grace at Enir-Ilim.

Divine Beast Head Stats and Location

The Divine Beast Head is the larger of the two heads and offers roughly 50% more Damage Negation for 100% more weight and 10,000% more Yikes Factor. The Divine Beast Head is part of the heaviest weight class in the game and offers comparable mitigative stats.

It also offers +4 Strength and Dexterity and boosts the damage dealt by Sorceries, Incantations, and Skills that contain the word “Storm” in the name by ~4%. In exchange, you don’t get any Focus and your Focus is reduced by 59. Your Crimson Flask healing is also reduced by 11%.

Basically, the Divine Beast Head leans hardest into the whole stat boost with concessions idea. The buff to Storms applies to the same effects as the Enraged Divine Beast Talisman, mainly all of the Stormwind stuff.

You can loot the Divine Beast Head at the Theatre of the Divine Beast after defeating it in Belurat, Tower Settlement.

I highly recommend returning to the Hornsent Grandam while wearing the Divine Beast Head, and again after you’ve defeated Messmer, the Impaler.

Horned Warrior Greatsword

The Horned Warrior’s Greatsword is a Curved Greatsword that starts with D scaling with Faith, Strength, and Dexterity. It features a Unique Skill: Horn Calling: Storm, that allows your sword to sprout supernatural horns just like the Divine Beast Warriors do.

You receive the Horned Warrior’s Greatsword (Curved Greatsword) for defeating a specific Divine Beast Warrior that doesn’t respawn at the exposed walkway leading to the Cleansing Chamber Anteroom at Enir-Ilim.
