This guide will show you what the Horned Warrior armor set and Horned Warrior Swords look like, what stats they provide, and how to get them in Elden Ring’s DLC Shadow of the Erdtree!
Visual Overview
The Horned Warrior armor set in Elden Ring is available exclusively in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It has all 4 pieces (helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves). You’ll also see the Horned Warrior Swords on display.
Horned Warrior Armor Set and Swords Descriptions and Stats
The Horned Warrior armor set has a combined weight of 25.1 (swords excluded) and are part of the 4th heaviest weight class alongside the other Horned Beast and Knight sets.
The Horned Warrior Helm has special properties like the other horned helms. It grants +5 Strength, but reduces the healing dealt by your Flask of Crimson Tears by ~7% vs ~9% for the Divine Beast and Bird Helms and ~11% for the Divine Beast Head. It also offers no boost to Focus whatsoever and reduces your Focus by 30.
The Horned Warrior’s Sword is actually a pair of Curved Swords, so you equip 1 and then get dual wield instead of two-handing. It starts with D Scaling with Strength and Dexterity and E for Faith. Its Unique Skill: Horn Calling summons a bunch of horns beneath the target’s feet.
In my opinion, it would make far more sense for the Unique Skills of the Horned Warrior’s Sword and Greatsword to be swapped, as slamming a Greatsword into the ground is more fitting way to call horns up elsewhere, while two blades are better at producing wind.
Where to find Horned Warrior Armor Set and Swords
Individual pieces of the Horned Warrior armor set, including the Horned Warrior’s Sword (Curved Sword), have a chance to drop from Horned Warriors.
One of the best locations to farm Horned Warrior gear is patrolling up the stairs right next to the Small Private Altar Site of Grace (also closest to the Hornsent Grandam) at Belurat, Tower Settlement on the Gravesite Plain.
Check out our Divine Beast Warrior Guide for more information on a similar armor set and the Horned Greatsword.
