This guide will show you what the Curseblade Acetic armor set and Curseblade Cirques look like, what stats they provide, and how to get them in Elden Ring’s DLC Shadow of the Erdtree!
Visual Overview
The Curseblade Acetic armor set in Elden Ring is available exclusively in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. It has all 4 pieces (helm, chest, gauntlets and greaves). Also pictured is the dual wielded Curseblade Cirque.
The Curseblade Mask also looks fantastic with the Finger Robes.
Curseblade Acetic Description and Stats
The Curseblade Acetic armor set has a combined weight of 8.5 and is listed as part of the 5th lightest weight class, but it’s one of the lightest sets in the game. The set features a waist cape as its chest piece item, even though it’s called a loincloth and then an actual loincloth alongside some anklets for the leg piece.
The Curseblade Mask works like other Horned Warrior masks and has a milder effect compared to the others. It boosts Dexterity by 5 and reduces Crimson Flask healing by 7% (-57 HP healed per maxed Flask). It doesn’t offer any Focus (Madness, Sleep Resistance) and reduces your Focus by 30.
The Curseblade’s Cirque is part of the new Backhand Blade weapon class. You only need to equip a single Cirque to get a blade for each hand, as dual wielding pulls out that second blade.
Unlike the other Backhand Blades, the Curseblade Cirque has innate Bleed buildup, and its Unique Skill: Deadly Dance that allows you to pull some of the shenanigans that Curseblade Acetics use to bully you, including flashing your crotch at the enemy.
Where to find Curseblade Acetic gear
Individual pieces of the Acetic armor set, including the Curseblade (Backhand Blade) have a chance to drop from Curseblade Acetics. One of the best locations to farm Aceitics is ahead of the very first Site of Grace you come across in the Shadow Realm, Gravesite Plain.
There’s another good place right before the Stagefront Site of Grace at Belurat, Tower Settlement, just outside of the boss room. However, it’s in the same tower as the Spider-Scorpions, so even if you survive the fall, you’ll quickly die from a heart attack.
We have a complete catalog of all Armor Sets and associated weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. You will find high-quality images of the front and back of every armor set and its altered version (if one is available in-game) as well as all associated weapons, seals, shields and other gear and items that belong to the same set.
At the end of each set, you will also find a link to a more in-depth guide about it, including even more images from more angles, lore descriptions, stats comparison, and tips on when, how, and why to use each item.
