A guide explaining what the Season Pass for Star Wars Outlaws offers and what is locked behind this purchase.
If you have played any of the recent Assassin’s Creed games in the past few years, the details surrounding the release of Star Wars: Outlaws do not surprise you, most likely.
In a typical fashion, Star Wars: Outlaws is available in several editions for pre-order, each offering some upgrades and digital goodies for an increased price over the previous one. There will be post-launch support for the game and a Season Pass will add additional stories for you to play through.
What is the Season Pass in Star Wars: Outlaws
The Season Pass for Star Wars: Outlaws offers more post-launch content for the players, who own the base game. It is a separate purchase. You can get it included in the price of the Gold and Ultimate Editions of the game.
The Season Pass features two story packs and some digital goodies for the main character Kay, her companion Nix, Kay’s speeder and ship.
The story packs are as follows:
- Jabba’s Gambit Mission, available at launch
- Wild Card, released November 2024
- A Pirate’s Fortune, released May 2025
The digital customizations are:
- Kessel Runner – Kay outfit and Nix skin, available at launch
- Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin customization packs, part of Wild Card
- Desert Nomad and Naboo Nobility customization packs, part of A Pirate’s Fortune
Season Pass Launch Content
The game launched officially on August 30th, but in reality most editions of the game give you “3 days early access”, so the real launch date is 27th.
If you own the Season Pass, at launch, you will get access to two cosmetic items as part of the Character Pack “Kessel Runner”. It includes an outfit for Kay and a custom skin for her companion Nix.
The exclusive quest “Jabba’s Gambit” was also available at launch only to players who own the Season Pass. Yes, it is strange that additional post-launch content is being delivered at launch, but this isn’t the first time Ubisoft is doing it. It’s their practice.
Season Pass Fall 2024 Content
In late November 2024, the first DLC was released. It’s titled Wild Card and features Lando.
Kay will meet Lando Calrissian during this tournament. The pair shall join efforts and attempt to uncover a conspiracy that is a lot bigger than the tournament itself.
Season Pass Spring 2025 Content
In May 2025, a second Story Pack was released as part of the Season Pass for Star Wars: Outlaws, called “A Pirate’s Fortune”.
This story will bring Kay, Nix, and ND-5 to work with the infamous pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who is “looking to settle old scores with a ruthless gang of pirates” while presenting them an irresistible offer.
Hondo has left a big mark in the Star Wars lore already, With his first appearance dating back to the eleventh episode of Clone Wars’s first season, Hondo has had the opportunity to meet many of the main characters from the Original Trilogy and the Prequels.
