What are the Syndicate Vaults
Each of the four Syndicates in Star Wars Outlaws have establishments on one or more planets. Inside those bases you will find a restricted area with a vault containing a treasure chest with valuable loot.
The areas around the vaults are restricted regardless of what reputation you have built with the syndicate up to this point. If you have high reputation, you will be able to freely roam around the syndicate’s district.
You always have to be stealthy and sneaky in the restricted areas where the vaults are. On the first open world planet, Toshara, there are two vaults – one for Crimson Dawn and one for the Pyke Syndicate respectively.
The natural progress as the game intended you to do it, will demand that you infiltrate the vault twice. First time to get the intel about the keycards and a second time to unlock the vault and loot the treasure inside.

How to reach the Crimson Dawn Vault
Your first visit to this area may be during the main quest New Tricks. The vault is near the airport in the back of the district.
This walkthrough will assume you have a low reputation with the Crimson Dawn syndicate. If you have a good or higher reputation, you can walk freely in the district up to the restricted area. Skip further down the guide to read how to sneak into the vault.
Enter the Crimson Dawn district in Mirogana
The Crimson Dawn area is guarded by these two guards standing in front of the door to the right from the cantina bar. If your reputation is low, they will not allow you in. you have to sneak silently through another entrance.
If your reputation is Good or higher, walk past the kitchen, to the left and you will find yourself at the vault area in the back of the district.
From this location, turn to your left. In the end of the room, past a Crimson Dawn guard, there is a vent you can open. Don’t let the guard spot you doing it. You can use Nix to distract him.
Reach the Landing restricted area
When you exit into the next room, turn right, and climb up. At the end of the corridor, you will find yourself in a more opened area. Climb down onto the lower platform.
Sneak and take down the guard standing next to the container. Be mindful of the other guard patrolling the area in front of the first guard.
Climb onto the bridge from the crates on the left and take down the next guard.
If you turn to your right, the corridor will lead you to the kitchen of the cantina. There are a few items worth looting there, but nothing major.
From the bridge, go back to the ground level and take out the guard that patrols in circles. Be sure to take him down away from the eyes of the two guards standing in front of the vault and the two standing at the top of the ramp leading up to the landing pad.
The safest location to take him out is near the terminals on the south side of the area. Go past the two technicians talking next to the terminals and sneak to the landing area from the south side.
Take out that guard standing near the edge. It is not patrolling and will not turn around. You are safe to approach from the back. In the middle of the platform there is a container. You can sneak to it and pick it up if you want.
Hide behind some cover and figure out where the patrolling guards are. When they walk back towards the front, follow behind them and get behind a crate near the fan.
If you’re sneaky enough, you can climb up some boxes while the guards are walking away. You’ll find Jodara’s Stash at the top which contains the Commando Helmet Speeder Trophy.
How to go through the Fan
Once you’re behind cover near the fan, wait for the guards to patrol the area you came from. Have Nix hold the power lever to turn off the fan. You won’t have long to get through, so quickly climb up and roll through the fan before it powers back up.
Pick up the Loot and Leave the Crimson Dawn District
Climb down the ladder you find and start looting the safe house. A large chest will contain the Ion Blaster Part you’ve been searching for, the Ion Energy Converter.
There will be a computer nearby that you can slice into. Slice into it and you’ll learn the location of three keys needed to unlock the Crimson Dawn Mirogana Vault.
Two of the cards are on Toshara, the third one is in space. Obtain them to unlock the treasure chest containing 5000 Credits and the Crimson Reign Paint Job for your speeder and the Crimson Reign Finish for the Trailblazer.
On the table in the middle, you will find the Renpalli Station Keycard. You will need this to reach the location of Zafi’s Keycard on the Rempalli Station in the orbit around Toshara (more on that later).
Go back up the ladder and look outside the fan before proceeding. Make sure the guards aren’t near the fan when you try to make your escape.
Have Nix power off the fan, then exit the pipe to return the way you came in. Once you’re out of the restricted area, you can fast travel out and get to your ship to upgrade your blaster.
Alternatively, you can jump out of the building onto the metal staircase and the two guards will not spot you.
Where to find the Keycards
When you first reach a vault and interact with the terminal inside, you will get intel about three keycards that you have to obtain to unlock the locked-off section that contaisn the vault’s treasure. This segment shows you where to find the keycards for the Crimson Dawn vault:
- Eleera’s Vault Keycard
- Zafi’s Vault Keycard
- Odana’s Vault Keycard
Where to find Eleera’s Vault Keycard
Eleera’s Vault Keycard is inside the Crimson Dawn Hideout, located on the eastern edge of the Toshara map, in The Grazing Fields region.
If you are in a bad relationship with this faction, you will have to sneak all the way in from the very entrance. If you have Good or higher reputation, you will only have to sneak through the back end of the hideout, where the restricted area is.
Disable the Alarm and take out the guard on the right. The two guards at the top of the ramp do not turn around and you can leave them be.
Walk past the security camera. Distract the left guard with Nix and take out the right one. Then quickly take down the left one as well. Take the elevator down.
The room downstairs is safe. On the other end, there is an open door leading to the landing pad with three Crimson Dawn members and a droid.
Inside the room you will find the Keycard on the table to the left and a treasure chest containing the H-M Engine Power Core speeder material.
If you want to, you can take out the NPCs outside at the landing area to loot the treasure chest inside the ship. It contains the Anaxes Ruffian Jacket.
Where to find Zafi’s Keycard
Zafi’s keycard was stolen by shipjackers and hidden at the Shipjacker Workshop. This is in the easternmost part of The Lost Steppe on Toshara.
The entrance is on the south side. This is a hostile area. You can sneak in or go guns blazing. There is no risk for your reputation with any of the syndicates as the enemy NPCs in here are just thieves.
The Keycard is behind a red energy barrier, next to a treasure chest. To get to this room, you need to activate the lift from the central platform, jump on the crate, wait for it to travel to the other end, and land onto the platform. Use Nix to activate the crate.
To take down the energy barrier, you need to first unlock the Ion Blaster shooting mode. Tell Nix to hold the panel open while you shoot at it.
Where to find Odana’s Vault Keycard
Odana’s Value Keycard is located in a small storage room on the Renpalli Station. You can reach it by taking off with the Trailblazer to the orbit of Toshara.
You may have a quest called The Traitor that also takes you to this station. There are a few more valuable treasures and other look around on board of the station. Look around.
Next up, consider breaking into the Pyke Syndicate Vault on Toshara. You will earn another 5000 credits along with some other goodies while you are out obtaining the keycards for that vault.
