This guide will show you where to find the Tooka Paw minor charm in Star Wars Outlaws and greatly reduce fall damage, so you can traverse the hills easier.
What are Charms
Charms in Star Wars Outlaws are gear pieces that Kay can equip. At the beginning of the game you start with one major charm slot and one minor charm slot. Later, through the main story progression, you can add four morre minor charm slots.
You equip Charms through the Loadouts menu. The options for unique builds in Star Wars is not huge. Charms are one of the very few gear pieces that can alter your gameplay and add unique perks to Kay’s arsenal of skills and activities.
Where to find the Tooka Paw Charm
The Tooka Paw charm is inside a treasure chest located at the Typhon’s Rock. This area is in the northern part of The Lost Steppe region, right at the center on the Toshara map.
When you pass by this area, you will get a prompt about a treasure. There are no specific requirements to reach the treasure at the top, meaning you can do this whenever you want and have a spare moment.
Stand on the north side of the marker on your map and look at the mountain to the north. There is a wall you can climb there. Next, go right and use your Grapple Hook to climb to the next level. After that you have one more short wall to climb.
When you find yourself on the small pleatau, turn southwest and climb the small cliff in front of you. Then make the jump onto the next.
On the other edge of the rock, make another jump and then climb down using your Grapple Hook. There, you will find the treasure chest containing the minor charm
Is the charm worth using
There are other charms that will be of far greater value to keep in a slot. This one could be useful in some very rare situations.
I personally find little to no use of the Fall Damage reducing perk that this charm provides. It may be useful if you want to save yourself a little bit of an extra mountainiering and jump off a cliff after you scaled it up for a treasure or something else.
Kay is a normal human been. As we have said in our DOs and DONTs Beginner’s Guide, you are not a Jedi and Massive are trying to remind you of that at literally every step you make.
The amount of Health reduced is noticeable. Where you would usually lose two HP slots, with this charm equipped, you lose barely any HP after the fall.
