This guide will show you how to unlock the door of the Slicer’s Shelter at Seeker’s Peril on Tatooine in Star Wars Outlaws. This is a unique upgrade material for Kay’s Blaster.

How to reach the location on Tatooine

In the South Jundlands on Tatooine, there is a location surrounded by rocky mountains and ridges with a beautiful sand waterfalls. As soon as you reach the place, Kay will comment on the sand waterfalls.

You can reach this area from the north side (1 on the map below) or the south side (2). On the northern side, there is a ramp facing south that you should take and then go through a tunnel. On the south side, there is a tunnel.

At this location, you have a few things to take care of:

  • Smugler Cache 76 – Treasure chest
  • Pinota Pakinota – a jawa trader that will sell you a Burst Injector, required for the Enhanced Bacta Injector ability
  • Slicer’s Shelter – a treasure chest containing BT-2X Charge Controller, the unique material required to upgrade Kay’s Blaster Bolt mode to its highest tier

Seeker’s Peril Video Walkthrough

The video below will show you everything in this area, including how to access it, how to pick up all treasure chests and the smuggler cache, how to reach the jawa trader and all other small valuable loot along the way.

How to reach the Slicer’s Shelter

Around the middle of the area, when you are facing west, you’ll see this strange cave/tunnel that is way too far to jump for Kay. Use your speeder boost to get to the other side.

At the end of the tunnel, there is a wall to climb and another one after that, opposite the first wall. Climb both walls to get to a higher level.

There’s a power generator on the left and a door with three red lights on the top. This means that there are three power conduit and you need to turn them all simultaneously for the door to open.

If you look exactly in the opposite direction, you’ll be able to spot a second power conduit. To find the third one, head over there.

There’s a climbable section right behind the second power generator. Get to the top to uncover the third part of the puzzle.

There’s a cloud of dust, the third and last power conduit is behind it. Use Nix senses to spot its exact location. This is important because the next requires precision and speed. The grapple point is on the left side (behind Kay in the image shown below).

You’ll have to activate all three generators with the Ion module and reach the door before the time runs out. Place yourself in the area marked in the next image.

Aim for the farthest generator first and turn left to hit the remaining two. Remember to use Nix senses right before your first shot.

You can check if all three lights above the door are lit green. If they are, you can climb down with the rope and access the Slicer’s Shelter to pick up your rewards for solving the puzzle.

Check if the lights above the door of the Slicer's Shelter are all green

Inside the door the second of the treasure chest as well as some smaller containers are waiting for you. The treasure chest has a BT-2X Charge Controller, a key item to upgrade Kay’s blaster.
