This guide will show you how how to start each one of Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vaults in Star Wars Outlaws with the help from the Holotracker tool as well as all rewards and collectibles you unlock and earn by doing so.

What are Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vaults

Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vaults are a long chain of quests taking Kay across all four open world planets in the game: Toshara, Kijimi, Akiva and Tatooine. The quests rely heavily on discovering hints, using intel and following leads to discover locked and hidden vaults full of treasures and collectible items.

The quest chain starts on Toshara after you complete the main story quest The Wreck. You can follow your progress through the quest chain in the Outlaw Legends tab in your Journal.

Outlaw Legends

After you complete the main story quests on Toshara and have met ND-5 back on your ship, you will find the Holotracker near the Blaster workbench and side door showing a marked location somewhere on Toshara.

After the first vault on Toshara, there is no required path or order in which you should discover the vaults on Kijimi, Akiva and Tatooine.

Here’s the chronological order of the vaults based on which parts of Jet Kordo’s Legacy recordings you get at each one:

  1. Jet Kordo’s Vault on Toshara
  2. Jet Kordo’s Vaults on Akiva
  3. Jet Kordo’s Vault on Kijimi
  4. Jet Kordo’s Vault on Tatooine
  5. Jet Kordo’s FInal Vault on Toshara

If you follow ND-5’s recommendation, you should visit Kijimi after Toshara. The main qeust in the game gives you freedom to visit any of the other planets at any time. It is up to you.

Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vault on Toshara

The Holotracker displays a specific landmark somewhere on the planet. It only contains a single hologram at first, and that holo shows you a place on Toshara.

The location depicted by the holo is near a homestead behind Typhon’s Rock in the Lost Steppe region. Nearby, you’ll find Jaunta’s Hope (NW), Pyke Territory (SW), and the Shipjacker Workshop (E).

This also serves as an introductory quest to show you how the holotracker can be used to find Smuggler Caches hidden on all planets.

We have full guides to all Smuggler Cache locations on all planets:

After you discover the first vault on Toshara, the game doesn’t give you any more leads on what to do and where to go. It is up to you to explore the other three planets. We have very detailed walkthroughs for all of Jet Kordo’s Vaults that you can use to quickly discover them and earn the rewards (listed below)

Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vaults on Akiva

For the vaults on Akiva, you’ll need to unlock the Hydrorepulsor that gives your speeder the ability to drive over deep water. You get this by progressing through the main story on Akiva and completing “The Scavenger” Expert quest.

Your first objective on Akiva is to get a lead on where the holodisc might be. You’re looking for a duo of aliens who will be chatting by this beautiful water fountain in Artisan’s Row in Myrra, the capital city of Akiva. This will start the quest for the first Akiva vault.

After finding the Overgrown Vault, you’ll learn that there’s a second vault on Akiva and need to eavesdrop on a couple of folks chatting in front of the gates to Hutt Territory in Myrra to start the quest for this vault. Our full walkthrough shows all of the details for both vaults.

Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vault on Kijimi

From the Fast Travel point east of the Crimson Dawn district in Kijimi City, head east and go on the bridge where you will see two citizens chatting – a Sullustan and a Mon Calamari. Listen to their chat and talk to them.

They were talking about the Miyuki Trade League. The Sulustan will tell you that she heard someone talk about them in the square in the Thieves District. From there on, follow the leads to discover the vault on Kijimi.

Jet Kordo’s Vaults on Tatooine

To get the lead on the first vault, the Buried Vault, you have to visit Mos Eisley and look for this couple of NPCs. They may be in a different spot.

By following the lead and investigating, you will discover the Buried vault. After you explor it. Kay will share with ND-5 that she feels something is missing. ND-5 finds a lead on the second vault. You do not need to start from scratch again. Just take the lead and follow it until you discover the Perched Vault.

Return to the Vault on Toshara

After you have unlocked all other vaults on the other planets, the quest will bring you back to Toshara for one final vault looting adventure. Return to the first vault you discovered that started this chain to

Bonus quest from A Pirate’s Fortune

After you complete all of Jet Kordo’s quests from the base game, if you have purchased the DLC A Pirate’s Fortune or have the Season Pass, you will gain access to a short optional quest that will grant you the Adaptive Generators, part of the new Passive Systems for the Trailblazer added with this DLC.

Go to Hauler’s Keep in Khepi System and talk to this NPC sitting near the Trailblazer’s ramp in the hangar. He will tell you to go to Jet Kordo’s Hideout – a marked location on Toshara, in the Lost Steppe.

All Collectibles you unlock

Jet Kordo’s Legacy is an 8-part saga detailing the aforementioned Ugnaught’s heist using the Trailblazer with recordings found in his various vaults.

Rewards Catalog

Alongside the recordings of Jet Kordo’s Legacy, you collect a bunch of items by visiting each of his vaults, including a full set of Clothes with Set Bonus, Paint Job for your speeder, Major Charm, Shift Token for Sabacc.

Oddly, there isn’t a Blaster Coating, Nix Accessory, Trinket, or Speeder Trophy despite being sufficient vaults to offer them. There aren’t any customizations for the Trailblazer either, but I assume the default customization is what the ship looked like when Jet owned it.

Scoundrel Clothing Set

The Scoundrel Set features earth tones with gold accents and makes you look like a classic smuggler from Star Wars. Unlike most of the other sets, it doesn’t look too basic or lean heavily into representing a specific syndicate or planet.

Likewise, the effects and Set Bonus provides a well-rounded and versatile combination of boosts, rather than drilling down hard into buffing a single item on your toolbelt.

Sandcrawler Paint Job

The Sandcrawler Speeder Paint job takes the name of the Jawas’ preferred method of transportation. However, the color and black color scheme bears no resemblance to the behemoths and doesn’t match the Scoundrel set all that well.

Cocktail Umbrella Major Charm

The Cocktail Umbrella is a Major Charm that lets you get the effect of a Set Bonus when you only have 2/3 pieces equipped.

In my opinion, this Major Charm is way too weak. If you have your heart set on a specific Set Bonus, it makes sense to use it temporarily, but the sets are already designed to have extremely synergistic effects on the individual pieces.

You can’t really double up on effects either since most of the duplicates are on the same type of clothing.

In essence, you’re giving up your Major Charm slot for the ability to swap out two effects on a single piece that aren’t likely to be much better than what the full set offers. The Cocktail Umbrella would only be worth considering if it were a Minor Charm.

You can browse our complete catalog of all Major Charms in Star Wars Outlaws to see what is available, how to get them all and what outfit they synergize best with.

Direct Transaction Shift Token

The Direct Transaction allows you to trade your hand to someone else. It’s one of the strongest Shift Tokens in Kessel Sabacc.

Effectively, you can build the most garbage hand possible (ideally, a 6 and a 1), use Nix to figure out who has the best hand and then trade it to them on the last turn of the round, guaranteeing victory for you and devastation to your opponent.
