This guide will show you what the Scoundrel set looks like in Star Wars Outlaws, how and where to obtain each piece and what stats they provide.

What are Outfits in Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws’s Loadouts tab has three slots for clothing gear pieces. All pieces of clothing modify your appearance and are part of a full set. Over half of them have a Set Bonus, which gives you an additional effect for wearing all 3 pieces of the same set.

Each piece of clothing falls into one of three quality tiers that determines how much of an impact it will have in combat.

TierNumber of Buff EffectsSet Bonus?
Cosmetic0No
Standard1No
Superior2Yes

Each quality tier is strictly better than the one above it. The Superior version only recolors the outfit and reuses the buff effect on the Standard version. Outfit pieces within a given tier are balanced to provide roughly equivalent buffs. Those that provide the same Set Bonus synergize strongly with each other and allow you to specialize your playstyle around a specific element of gameplay, like stealth or explosives.

You can find outfit gear pieces as loot from chests, purchase them from vendors, receive them as mission rewards, or for fully maxing out your reputation with a Syndicate. All of the sets you obtain as individual pieces from chests and vendors come in 2 variants with different buffs and colors but contribute to the same Set Bonus, if applicable.

You can replace the visual appearance of any outfit item with another one. This feature is commonly known as transmog, though it’s only referred to as Appearance in Star Wars Outlaws. This game doesn’t allow you any specific modifications beyond the simple swap of one item’s appearance with another.

Visual Overview and Stats

The Outlaw outfit is a Superior Set, meaning that its individual pieces offer unique perks while worn. Putting on all three of them will yield a set bonus as well.

Visual Overview

The Scoundrel outfit in Star Wars Outlaws features a rugged, battle-worn look with pale green and blue colors. It’s made from durable fabrics and tough leather.

The layered design and roguish charm give it a versatile, ready-for-anything appearance, perfect for navigating dangerous situations and underworld dealings. Given the source of this set and what you have to do to obtain it, it’s very fitting!

How to get the Scoundrel Outfit

The Scoundrel Set is a reward for discovering Jet Kordo’s Vaults. This is a rather long quest chain that starts with the discovery of Jet Kordo’s first vault on Toshara.

From there, you ahve five more vaults to find and loot to complete the chain. To get the Scoundrel set, however, you only need to find four of those vaults.

It doesn’t matter which vaults you visit and unlock. We have full guides for all Jet Kordo’s Legacy Vaults. By following them you will not only unlock the full Scoundrel set, but get a lot of collectibles and other cool items, credits and you will also complete one of the longest quest chains in the game.

Where to find the Scoundrel Belt

The Belt is a reward for discovering Jet Kordo’s Vault on Toshara. This vault is the first one you will find after you obtain the Holotracker tool.

If you have not yet started exploring Jet Kordo’s Vaults, you should know that to get the other ones unlocked, you need to first find the Vault on Toshara. It serves also as a tutorial to show you how the Holotracker works.

Once you complete the main story quest The Wreck on Toshara and have met ND-5 back on your ship, you can find the Holotracker near the Blaster worktable and side door showing a specific location on Toshara.

Where to find the Scoundrel Jacket

The Scoundrel Jacket is a reward for accessing the Buried Vault on Tatooine and opening the treasure chest inside.

The Buried Vault is the first of two of Jet Kordo’s Vaults on Tatooine. To unlock it, you will need to find these two NPCs in Mos Eisley and talk to them.

Note: The two NPCs may not be at this location. Look for them around the city. We hav also spotted them east of this location, near the entrance of the Chalmin’s Cantina.

You do not have to continue the quest to the second vault, but we recommend that you return later to finish this. It’s worth in the end as you get a lot of collectibles and other items from exploring these vaults.

Where to find the Scoundrel Pants

The Pants are looted from the treasure chest in the Forgotten Vault on Akiva. This is the second of two of Jet Kordo’s Vaults on this planet. To get to it, you have to first open the Overgrown Vault.

To be able to access the two vaults, you will need the Hydrorepulsor ability from Temmin. You automatically get this unlocked after you complete The Scavenger quest and get Temmin as an expert.

For the second vault, you will also need the Speeder Boost ability, which you learn from Selo. You get this automatically after you complete The Mechanic quest and get Selo as an expert.

Here is the starting point for the first vault on Akiva. Buy the misterious holodisc fro mthis merchant.

Our guide to Jet Kordo’s Vaults on Akiva will give you all of the details, including how to start the Intel quest, each location you have to visit and what actions are required of you. We’ve also included some extra loot for you to pick up while you are exploring these areas without slowing you down.
