How to get the Baraan-Fa Thief Outfit in Star Wars Outlaws: Overview and Stats

This guide will show you what the Baraan-Fa Thief outfit looks like, what stats it provides, and how to get it in Star Wars Outlaws!

What are Outfits in Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws’s Loadouts tab has three slots for clothing gear pieces. All pieces of clothing modify your appearance and are part of a full set. Over half of them have a Set Bonus, which gives you an additional effect for wearing all 3 pieces of the same set.

Each piece of clothing falls into one of three quality tiers that determines how much of an impact it will have in combat.

TierNumber of Buff EffectsSet Bonus?
Cosmetic0No
Standard1No
Superior2Yes

Each quality tier is strictly better than the one above it. The Superior version only recolors the outfit and reuses the buff effect on the Standard version. Outfit pieces within a given tier are balanced to provide roughly equivalent buffs. Those that provide the same Set Bonus synergize strongly with each other and allow you to specialize your playstyle around a specific element of gameplay, like stealth or explosives.

You can find outfit gear pieces as loot from chests, purchase them from vendors, receive them as mission rewards, or for fully maxing out your reputation with a Syndicate. All of the sets you obtain as individual pieces from chests and vendors come in 2 variants with different buffs and colors but contribute to the same Set Bonus, if applicable.

You can replace the visual appearance of any outfit item with another one. This feature is commonly known as transmog, though it’s only referred to as Appearance in Star Wars Outlaws. This game doesn’t allow you any specific modifications beyond the simple swap of one item’s appearance with another.

Baraan-Fa Thief Visual Overview

The Baraan-Fa Thief set can be obtained by all players in Star Wars Outlaws. It’s a modest appearance featuring dark earth tones and tight clothing. The colors differ ever so slightly compared to the Nar Shaddaa Thief Outfit, with the Baraan-Fa variant having darker colors.

The Baraan-Fa Thief Set matches the Patina Blaster Coating, Dominance Paint Job, Nix’s Black Feeler Wrappings, and Nightfall Finish.

Baraan-Fa Thief Stats and Close-ups

Each piece only offers 1 effect, all of which are related to stealth or takedowns. It does not count for any Set Bonus and is strictly weaker version of the Akiva Thief and Moldour Thief Outfits, but it’s far easier to obtain and can still be used to modify your Appearance.

The Baraan-Fa Thief set synergizes with Charms that interact with detectability, takedowns, and Nix.

Where to find the Baraan-Fa Thief outfit

You can purchase all 3 pieces of the Baraan-Fa Thief Outfit from Jamm Mox, an unaffiliated Tailor in the Market District just outside of Pyke Territory in Myrra on Akiva. Each piece costs 10 Coarseweave and 5 Jarwal Fibers, so 30 Coarseweave and 15 Jarwal Fibers for the full outfit.

If you can’t find the full Baraan-Fa Thief set here, you will probably be able to purchase the full Nar Shaddaa Thief Outfit here instead. I encourage you to check out the locations in our Nar Shaddaa Thief Outfit Guide for alternate locations.
