Take the Pyke Informant List or let Jadd keep it: Star Wars Outlaws Passenger Quest Walkthrough

Siow by Siow|

This guide will show you how to complete the Star Wars Outlaws side quest, Passenger and what difference it makes if you choose to take the Pyke Informant List or let Jadd keep it.

How to get the Passenger Side Quest

You can obtain the Passenger side quest after completing The Safecracker. Go to the Thermal District of Kijimi and look for the lone man leaning on a wall.

Talk to Dart and you’ll learn that you’ll need to rob a Pyke ship in the nebula in Kijimi’s Orbit. It has cargo that you need to obtain and keep it undamaged.

If you have good or excellent reputation with Crimson Dawn, you can press Dart for more info. This doesn’t prove useful as he’s keeping this information very confidential. Once you’re done talking, return to your ship and enter Kijimi’s orbit.

Searching for the Pyke Ship

When you’re in Kijimi’s Orbit, follow your objective marker to a small debris field in the nebula. Once you reach it, you’ll be led down a trail of debris.

You will be unable to gain any loot by blowing up the chests in the debris trail as they are empty. It’s rather disappointing considering there’s a lot of chests you can blow on on this trail.

Searching for the Pyke Ship

Following the trail will lead you to the Pyke ship, or rather… what remains of it anyway. A small pirate ship with the cargo will flee the area. Chase the ship until it jumps out of the system. Do not attempt to damage the pirate ship.

Jump into the Akiva system, you’ll want to follow your compass marker and land at Achra Station in Akiva’s orbit.

Achra Station

Once you’re inside Achra Station, you’ll find a locked room holding the Crimson Dawn agent, Jadd Flaxum. Talk to the agent to learn that the pirate captain is a Pantoran woman.

Achra Station

Go further into Achra Station and look for the cantina to the back. When you walk in, you’ll find the Pantoran pirate you’re looking for. She’s talking to a Pyke Syndicate contact through the holotable.

When she finishes talking and walks off, send Nix to pickpocket her for the keycard. Return to the locked door and free Jadd. After some dialogue, you’ll have a choice to make.

Should you take the Pyke Informant List or let Jadd Keep It

After some talking with Jadd, you’ll have the option to let Jadd keep the Pyke Informant List for the Crimson Dawn, or you can take it back for the Pykes.

Either option will have rather large consequences one way or the other. Here’s what will happen:

  • Letting Jadd keep the list will greatly increase your reputation with Crimson Dawn, but greatly decrease your reputation with the Pykes.
  • Taking the list will greatly increase your reputation with the Pykes, but greatly lower your reputation with Crimson Dawn.
Should you take the Pyke Informant List or let Jadd Keep It

You should choose what would most benefit you at the time or whichever syndicate’s loyalty rewards you want. Choosing to let Jadd keep it offers a bit more jovial dialogue and gives you insight on his bathing habits.

For example, I chose to take the list as the reputation decrease would have made me had a terrible reputation with the Pykes. There are no lasting repercussions for choosing either answer, it all depends on your current needs.

I didn’t want Pyke strike teams hunting me down.

Leave Achra Station

When you’re done talking to Jadd, you’ll find a large chest inside his room. It’ll contain an SE-JA-4 Sensor Jammer Trailblazer Component.

This component makes it harder for other ships to detect you while you’re flying the Trailblazer. It’s very useful for remaining hidden during Thief Contracts done in space.

Leave Achra Station in the Trailblazer. The pirate captain is upset to say the least and she will start following you.

While she’s monologuing about revenge, lock your missiles on her and open fire. Once she’s blown up into space dust, you’ll earn your reputation and gain 2,000 credits.
