Should you give the Holopuck to the Hutts or Crimson Dawn: Star Wars Outlaws Sabotage Quest Walkthrough

This guide will show you how to complete the Star Wars Outlaws side quest, Sabotage. We’ll also explain what happens if you decide to give the Holopuck to the Hutts or to the Crimson Dawn syndicate.

How to get the Sabotage Side Quest

Sabotage becomes available right after you complete the story quest, Underworld. A Hutt enforcer by the name of Verrick will want to talk to you in Makal’s Gambling Parlor in Mirogana.

Verrick will tell you that the Pykes have been interfering with Hutt business and their poaching operations. He wants Kay to find out who they’re doing business with and to destroy their factory farm.

Meeting Verrick’s Contact

The Pyke Poaching Station is in the southwest corner of the Toshara Map. Make your way there and look for an incline that leads to a cliff. Go up there to find a dead end.

The dead end is actually a rock wall you’re able to climb. Climb the wall, use your grappling hook to scale the next wall, then hop over the ledge.

Follow your marker and you’ll meet Verrick’s contact, Monda. She’ll run you through the plan and provide you with the explosives you need to blow up the factory farm.

Infiltrating the Factory Farm

This next part will be mildly tricky or trivial depending on your reputation with the Pykes. In either scenario, the path shown in this guide will be the safest route to access the client list.

Southwest of Monda, you’ll find a ledge you can jump down. Slide down the following 2 slopes and look for the tree branch to the south. Swing across with your grappling hook to get across the gap.

If you have good reputation with the Pykes, you can walk around most areas here without any worry. If you have poor reputation with the Pykes, you’ll need to sneak around using the tall grass as cover.

You’ll want to look for the path leading up to the arch with 2 guards in front of it. You’ll want to work clockwise around the walk wall. Follow the arrows seen in the image below.

Keep going clockwise and you’ll find a rock wall behind the poaching station you can climb up. Knock out the two guards here and unlock the back door with your data spike.

Once you’re inside the building, go to the front desk inside the lobby. Pick up Gorak’s Vault Keycard, this is useful for unlocking the Pyke Syndicate Vault on Toshara.

Go into the office room and look to your right for the large chest. It will contain the Anaxes Ruffian Belt. Note that at the time of this publication, the room with the treasure chest is only accessible during the quest. It will likely be fixed with a patch later.

In the opposite corner of the room, you’ll find a holopuck displaying the faces of various customers. Pick it up and a cutscene will start.

Should you give the Holopuck to the Hutts or Crimson Dawn

Monda will appear in the room and reveals herself to be working with Crimson Dawn. She wants Kay to turn the holopuck to her and Crimson Dawn. You must make a choice if you want to turn in the holopuck to the Hutts or turn it over to Monda.

  • If you refuse and finish the job, you’ll gain 1,000 credits and a large amount of reputation with the Hutts. This also results in you losing a great amount of reputation with Crimson Dawn.
  • If you double cross the Hutts, your pay will be 750 credits, you’ll gain a little reputation with the Hutts, and gain a large amount of reputation with Crimson Dawn.

The better option is to side with Crimson Dawn if you just finished the Underworld story quest. The next story quest, New Tricks, can have you infiltrate Crimson Dawn territory.

Planting the Bomb and Meeting up with Verrick

Once you’ve made your decision with the holopuck, go downstairs into the basement. Knock out the guard and plant the bomb on the generator.

As the bomb counts down, look to your right and have Nix press a button to open the door into the room. Climb up the stairs, unlock the vent with your data spike, and crawl through the vent to escape.

When you’re on the roof, look to the north and use the small ramp to jump to the ledge ahead. Jump down the ledge and go south.

Go down the rock walls you climbed to get up here, grapple onto the branch, and rappel down to ground level. Go hide in some of the tall grass outside of the facility grounds to call Verrick.

Summon your speeder and follow your quest marker to the town of Jaunta’s Hope. Go inside the diner to meet up with Verrick and bring him up to speed.

After the cutscene, you will have finished the side quest Sabotage. If you’re starting out, you can return to the Trailblazer for some gifts from Crimson Dawn if your reputation becomes Good with them.
