There are 33 Nix Accessories in Star Wars Outlaws. We’ll show you what they look like and where to find each one so Nix can hug faces in style!
What are Nix Accessories and How to use them
Nix accessories are purely cosmetic items that your little Merqaal friend can wear to make him look even more adorable. I know how you feel. I didn’t think it was scientifically possible either.
You can equip one of these items to Nix at a time in the Loadouts menu, just like you would with Kay’s Outfits.
Unlike one of Kay’s outfits, Nix Accessories do not provide any sort of bonus or effect. That sort of thing is handled by a separate Loadout slot, Nix Treats.
You can obtain Nix Accessories as loot from treasure chests, maxing out a syndicate’s reputation for the first time, as a promotional reward for the game, or purchasing them from a specific vendor by exchanging Nix Treasures.
The vendor in question is Berek Keehro, a Pyke Syndicate-affiliated Tailor in Mirogana on Toshara. You’ll need to collect all of the Nix Treasures on a specific planet to exchange for a specific Nix Accessory.
Click on an icon below to see the details for the selected Nix Accessory, including high-quality preview images from the front and back and where to find it.
Ahia-Ko Wreath
Nix can wear a flower wreath on his head. I almost cried when I first found out.
You can obtain the Ahia-Ko Wreath from Berek Keehro, the Tailor in Mirogana on Toshara. You must offer up all of the Nix Treasures located on Akiva in exchange for the Ahia-Ko Wreath:
Amberine Necklace
The Amberine Necklace is the gorgeous equivalent of a collar for Nix. Rather than “dogtags”, there’s a big ol’ hunk of amberine.
You can obtain the Amberine Necklace from Berek Keehro, the Tailor in Mirogana on Toshara. You must offer all of the Nix Treasures located on Toshara in exchange for the Amberine Necklace:
Azure Tail Wrappings
The Azure Tail Wrappings use the Disney+ color gradient on fabric material.
If you’re a Disney+ subscriber in the US or Canada, you can obtain the Azure Tail Wrappings as a free Ubisoft Promotion until November 15th, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET. The email associated with your Ubisoft and Disney+ accounts must be the same.
Black Feeler Wrappings
Nix’s Feelers can detect electromagnetic radiation, so it only makes sense to wrap them in electrical tape.
You can loot the Black Feeler Wrappings from a chest behind an unpowered door at the crash site of a downed ship in the Boulder Forest on Toshara near the entrance to the ruins of a High Republic ship on Toshara.
Shoot a blaster bolt using your Ion Module at the conduit across the fuselage from the door to power it up.
Blue Droid Part
The Blue Droid part is an old rusty top of a droid that serves as a tiny helmet for Nix.
You can get the Blue Droid Part from Ubisoft Connect for 60 Units.
Blue Feeler Wrappings
The Blue Feeler Wrappings are actually a mixture of blue, white, and gray wrappings.
You’ll find the Blue Feeler Wrappings inside the Delivery Crate on the Trailblazer after completing the quest New Tricks on Toshara.
Boonta Brawler Splash
You know how you can apply a Paint Job to your Speeder? The folks at Massive Entertainment had the temerity to ask “what a Nix Paint Job might look like”, and that’s how we ended up with the Boonta Brawler Splash.
You receive the Boonta Brawler Splash for maxing out your reputation with the Hutt Cartel.
Blue Scarf
Procuring the Blue Scarf MUST be the very first thing you do when you arrive on Kijimi!
You can loot the Blue Scarf from a chest near the official main entrance to The Wellspring on Kijimi, on the edge of Crimson Dawn Territory.
Blue Tail Wrappings
The Blue Tail Wrappings contain a couple of green stripes along with the blue, out of a material reminiscent of masking tape.
You can loot the Blue Tail Wrappings from a chest on a ledge along the outer wall of Crimson Dawn territory on Kijimi. You don’t need to do any climbing; you can just walk through the water from the over by the Survivalist vendor across the way.
Crimson Reign Satchel
The Crimson Reign Satchel is made of red leather with a gold stripe down the middle connected by a light silver clasp on the chest.
You receive the Crimson Reign Satchel for maxing out your reputation with Crimson Dawn.
Corded Tail Wrappings
The corded tail wrappings match perfectly the bright red accents of the Cartel Ronin outfit and speeder paint job from the Cartel Ronin bundle, part of the Season Pass for the game.
Cyborg Implants
Lando couldn’t be an effective Baron Administrator of Cloud City without his trusty sidekick and Computer-Liaison Officer, Lobot. The same is true of Kay Vess and Nix. Thankfully, you don’t need to lobotomize Nix, as the Cyborg Implants are purely decorative, though the lights still work.
The Cyborg Implants is one of the items you receive for purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws.
Desert Nomad Nix
The Desert Nomad scarf and wrappings for the feelers and tail are ideal for harsh winds and nasty sands.
You get the Desert Nomad from the Desert Nomad Bundle, available with the Season Pass or as a separate purchase.
Dust Goggles
There’s this lady on Tatooine who clearly recognizes Nix for the treasure he is and simply must give him something to protect his eyes on those long speeder rides across the sands of Tatooine.
You are given the Dust Goggles by a lady near the Tailor beside the Ubrikkian Trade Tower in Mos Eisley. It’s like a quest, but there’s no objective, only the one conversation.
Elegant Tail Wrappings
Elegant Tail Wrappings look like they come from a more civilized age. The color and material are reminiscent of Jedi robes.
You can loot the Elegant Tail Wrappings from a chest in a little nook at Artisan’s Row, near the main ground entrance to Myrra on Akiva.
Forest Commando Hood
The Forest Commando Hood is made of thick brown worn leather with stripes on the back.
You get this hood by purchasing the Forest Commando Pack from the in-game store or if you play on a console, from the console’s own store.
Gold Scale Paint
The Gold Scale Paint is exactly as the name describes it – a bright pearlescent gold paint on the scales on the back of Nix’s head.
You can pick up the Gold Scale Paint together with the Gambler Outfit during the quest The Game, part of the Wild Card DLC.
Gray Scarf
The Gray Scarf has stripes of light and dark gray that blend together at normal distances. It’s darker than the Kijimi Explorer Scarf.
You can loot the Gray Scarf from a chest at the ruins of Lars Homestead (yes, as in Aunt Beru and Uncle Owen Lars), a moisture farm at the southernmost point of the Great Chott Salt Flat on Tatooine.
Imperial Chestbox
The Imperial Chestbox is from Nix’s days training to become a pilot back at the Imperial Academy.
You receive the Imperial Chestbox for maxing out your reputation with the Pyke Syndicate.
Karoka Fruit
The Karoka Fruit lets Nix wear the peel of a durian-like fruit on his head, reminiscent of cats made to do the same.
You can obtain the Karoka Fruit from Berek Keehro, the Tailor in Mirogana on Toshara. You must offer the Nix Treasure located on Kijimi in exchange for the Red Headband.
Kessel Runner Bandolier
While it’s likely inspired by Chewbacca’s bandolier, the Kessel Runner Bandolier’s more prominent feature is actually a lil’ satchel. I like to think he keeps his school books in there.
You receive the Kessel Runner Bandolier for purchasing the Season Pass for Star Wars Outlaws. You can pick it up in the Delivery Crate on the Trailblazer.
Kijimi Explorer Scarf
The Kijimi Explorer Scarf lets Nix bundle up in white so he can more easily camouflage himself in the snow.
You receive the Kijimi Explorer Scarf for maxing out your reputation with the Ashiga Clan.
Merqaal Corsair
Let Nix live out his pirate dreams by equipping him with the Merqaal Corsair. The accessory includes a purple kerchief and a necklace.
To obtain the Merqaal Corsair, you’ll need to complete the quest Dead Man’s Tale. This is the final quest of A Pirate’s Fortune and you’ll obtain it after you part ways with Hondo Ohnaka.
Mixed Feeler Wrappings
The Mixed Feeler Wrappings are multicolored and look good with a bunch of different outfits in the game, along with Jabba’s Gamorrean Guards.
You can loot the Mixed Feeler Wrappings from a chest near Han Solo in Jabba’s Palace on Tatooine. You are only allowed inside Jabba’s Palace after completing the Partners quest and only if you have Excellent reputation with the Hutt Cartel.
Myykian Coif
A tidy blue hairstyle, with a red scarf make Nix look even cuter than normal. If that’s pssible.
The Myykian Coif is a free cosmetic included in Update 1.6 and available to all players.
Naboo Nobility Nix
The Naboo Nobility Nix will make everyone believe he resides in the Royal Palace in Theed.
You get the Naboo Nobility Nix accessory from the Naboo Nobility Bundle, available with the Season Pass or as a separate purchase.
Red Headband
The Red Headband helps Nix make sure his feelers stay out of his face for when he needs to go all out.
You can obtain the Red Headband from Berek Keehro, the Tailor in Mirogana on Toshara. You must offer all of the Nix Treasures located on Tatooine in exchange for the Red Headband:
Red Scarf
The Red Scarf is perfect to wear for the first snowfall of the year, or when you want to bring him along for some caroling.
You can loot the Red Scarf from a chest in a secluded area on the bank of the river southeast of the Pyke Crystal Mine in Stormhollow on Akiva. You can only access the riverbank once you have obtained a hydrorepulsor for your speeder.
Reaching the chest requires you to fire a blaster bolt with your Ion Module at a conduit to charge a button that only Nix can reach.
Rogue Infiltrator Goggles
The Rogue Infiltrator Goggles are the same kind worn by Bodhi Rook, who sacrificed his life for the Rebellion on Scarif.
The Rogue Infiltrator Goggles are one of the items you receive for purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws.
Tan Feeler Wrappings
The Tan Feeler Wrappings are one of the only types of wrappings that are actually a uniform color, but that color is not tan, it’s more of a yellow-green.
You can loot the Tan Feeler Wrappings from a chest in a tent behind a Hutt Cartel Enforcer at the Hutt Poaching Outpost at Hunter’s Canopy on Akiva. The chest is just south of the triangular “roundabout” in their territory.
Utility Belt
When Nix wants to be a mini-Wookiee or a Bounty Hunter (works for both), he simply puts on the Utility Belt, included in the Hunter’s Legacy Bundle, part of the Star Wars Outlaws Season Pass. The belt is made of sturdy brown leather with several small utility bags.
Yellow Scarf
The Yellow Scarf has a pattern of little blue-green ovals. I suspect they were trying to evoke the same threatening colors as the infamous blue-ringed octopus.
You can loot the Yellow Scarf from a chest at Traveler’s Crossing, southeast of the Shipjacker Workshop at the Southern Falls on Toshara.
Yellow Tail Wrappings
The Yellow Tail Wrappings have a dried leathery look to them that make it look like Nix has an injury or is in the process of molting.
You can loot the Yellow Tail Wrappings from a chest on the plateau in the Grazing Fields just north of the Shipjacker Workshop on Toshara.
You’ll need to use your speeder to boost off of an amberine ramp to reach the plateau.
