Where to find the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger in Star Wars Outlaws

This guide will show you how to reach the container in Typhon’s Rock, containing the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger upgrade material, a unique upgrade material for Kay’s Blaster.

Requirements to reach the center of Typhon’s Rock

To be able to reach the place where the container with the blaster upgrade is located you need the Power Module. You get it after completing The Safecracker, The Heavy, or The Droidsmith.

How to reach the location on Toshara

Typhon’s Rock is a massive area, it can be accessed through all directions but there are many small hills and rock formations so it can be confusing. I recommend that you enter from the Southeast. You’ll have to climb a couple of walls.

You’ll see the top of the rock and most importantly, an orange coloring in some of the walls. Turn to the left and continue for a few seconds.

Climb the next two small ledges. Then, turn to your right, this is where you’ll see a tunnel with wind coming out of it.

The wind is extremely strong, you won’t be able to move if it hits you. There’s a small window of time you can use to get inside.

Get close to the big rock on the left, when the wind stops blowing continue to the next one on the right side. Don’t get greedy, do one at a time. The third time you can do this it will be to get inside this huge rock formation. Use the branch to rappel down.

Use the Power Module to destroy this wall. It doesn’t matter which configuration you pick. There is only one path ahead, continue forward.

You’ll see another branch to use your grappling hook on, but first you should loot the nearby items. Materials are always handy to either buy or upgrade items.

Don’t drop when going down, it’s a long fall. After touching the ground you’ll be able to spot the entirety of this area. You might feel tempted to try a Jedi-like jump but it’s not possible. Trust me, I tried it multiple times.

Continue through the right side. There’s a little more climbing to do. Nothing too fancy.

Destroy the rock obstructing the vent with the Power Module and move forward.

It’s time to do some swinging on a few more branches with your grappling hook. Then you ‘ll reach the trickiest part of this entire area.

This wall works as the tunnel you entered to get here. The wind will blow after periods of time, making it impossible to move up or down.

I recommend being patient and not trying to jump to the second wall when you’re already at the top of the first one. Sometimes it gets buggy and the option to jump is delayed by a few seconds, which can prove fatal.

That wall was the biggest threat in this cave but not the last one. Right after climbing it you will see this small aperture on the right side. The wind also passes through it. Wait for it and then continue.

You’ll stumble upon a new tunnel. Walk for a few steps, when you reach a certain point, the tunnel becomes a very steep slope. Kay will fall. It’s scripted.

Near the edge you will have to jump to get to the other side.

After that obstacle you will see a new grappling point. Use it to descend to the ground.

There’s a total of seven rocks which can be destroyed. Only the rocks highlighted in the following image are the mandatory ones, but you can destroy all of them if you want.

Shoot the power generator with the Ion Module. You have to be standing on the lift because it will activate instantly and the power only lasts for a few seconds.

Loot everything in this area, specifically the big container located on the left side. Inside it you’ll find the Ancient Hunter Carving Major Charm. When the area is cleared walk towards the other side of the edge.

You will see another big container, it has the BT-009S Fastshot Trigger. The energy barrer that can be seen at the back is your way out of here. Just press the button and it will open.
