There are 20 Minor Charms in Star Wars Outlaws. We’ll tell you what they are, how to get them all, and when to use them!
What are Minor Charms
Minor Charms occupy dedicated slots in your Loadout. They don’t affect your appearance but provide a buff effect that is similar in power level to an individual buff effect provided by a piece of clothing.
By the end of the game, you’ll be able to equip 4 Minor Charms, and they can do quite a lot to compliment the rest of your build or cover for its weaknesses.
While some Minor Charms are more universally useful than others, there aren’t any “best” Minor Charms. It makes more sense to think about each Minor Charm as contributing to a specific playstyle, which then manifests with cohesive Outfits with Set Bonuses, and a Major Charm.
Most Minor Charms come from specific syndicate-affiliated vendors, or are given to you by reaching Excellent reputation for the first time with each syndicate. There are a few you get as quest rewards or loot from chests as well.
Click on an icon below to see the details for the selected Minor Charm.
Ashiga Clan Crest
The Ashiga Clan Crest heals you for 1 HP whenever you defeat an enemy with a melee takedown or finisher.
It’s most valuable alongside stealth and close-quarters combat outfits.
You receive the Ashiga Clan Crest for achieving Excellent reputation with the Ashiga Clan for the first time.
Aurora Snowflake Pin
The Aurora Snowflake Pin gives you a chance to not consume Batca Vials on use. We don’t know the exact chance of this effect triggering, but it seems to be higher than the chances to trigger other chance-based Minor Charms.
It’s useful for builds that gain additional benefits from using Bacta Vials, like the Outlaw set and Vandor Survivalist outfit.
You can purchase the Aurora Snowflake Pin from a Smuggler named Sol D’lorak outside The Domak Refectory on Kijimi, but only if you have at least Good reputation with the Ashiga Clan.
Chew Toy
The Chew Toy more than doubles the amount of Adrenaline gained from stealth takedowns if Nix is distracting them. Face Hugging does not count.
It’s useful with stealth outfits and synergizes with a couple of the Nix Treats.
You have a chance to loot the Chew Toy charm whenever you clean up Nix’s growing pile of junk aboard the Trailblazer.
Copalroot Bead
The Copalroot Bead increases your HP by 1 segment.
It’s useful for outfits that offer limited or situational survivability, like the stealth outfits, or that emphasize healing, like the tanky outfits.
You can purchase the Copalroot Bead from Chrissanta Palus, an unaffiliated Survivalist, north of Typhon’s Rock on the Lost Steppe on Toshara.
Credit Chip Talisman
The Credit Chip Talisman gives you a chance to get some extra credits whenever you open something with a lid, like a chest.
It’s useful in the early game when you’re poor, but it’s a waste of a slot as soon as you are able to afford everything you want.
You can earn the Credit Chip Talisman charm during the Keeping Watch mission. You pick up this mission on the balcony at Makal’s Gambling Parlor in Mirogana City on Toshara.
If you manage to steal the charms back from the chest without getting caught, you’ll be given the Credit Chip Talisman as a reward. The crucial mission step is called Stolen Charms and is located on the edge of Mirogana Valley near The Mirage on Toshara.
Crimson Dawn Crest
The Crimson Dawn Crest makes enemies less likely to notice you slinking around in places you aren’t supposed to be.
It’s pretty universally useful, but most valuable to stealth outfits and the Imperial Disguise set by maximizing your sneakiness.
You receive the Crimson Dawn Crest for achieving Excellent reputation with Crimson Dawn for the first time.
Data Cylinder
The Data Cylinder makes it less likely that your Adrenaline will begin depleting right before you were about to use it. Instead of always happening, it will only happen some of the time.
This Minor Charm synergizes with outfits that enhance and rely on Adrenaline, like the blaster-focused outfits and the Outlaw set.
You can loot the Data Cylinder charm from a farm in the Grazing Fields directly northeast of Typhon’s Rock, also east of Jaunta’s Hope on Toshara. It’s in the back room of the rear house. You’ll need to have Nix open a shutter so you can fire a shot from your Ion Module to charge the conduit inside and power the door.
Frostfire Crystal Shard
The Frostfire Crystal Shard substantially reduces your damage taken from explosives.
It’s useful, if excessive, with tanky outfits and pretty important for close-quarters combat outfits, since they require you to chuck grenades at nearby enemies.
You can purchase the Frostfire Crystal Shard charm from Neva Yaranu, a Crimson Dawn-affiliated smuggler inside of their territory on Kijimi. It costs 500 credits and you must have at least Good reputation with the Crimson Dawn to buy it.
Glacial Relic
The Glacial Relic roughly doubles the Adrenaline you get from Super Cooling (blue reload).
It’s most useful for blaster-focused outfits, as well as the Outlaw and Scoundrel sets, all of which also reward you in other ways for Super Cooling or expending Adrenaline.
You can purchase the Glacial Relic from Viska, an Ashiga Clan-affiliated Armorer in their territory on Kijimi. It costs 750-900 credits and you must have at least Good reputation with the Ashiga Clan to interact with the vendor at all.
Glyph Stone
The Glyph Stone slightly increases the Adrenaline gain from hitting something with your blasterfire. However, it’s a pretty weak boost
It synergizes with the gunslinger outfits and other blaster-related Adrenaline boosts, like the Jarwal Bloom.
You can purchase the Glyph Stone from an anonymous Pyke Lookout, an Armorer affiliated with the Pykes inside their territory at the Pyke Crystal Mine in Stormhollow on Akiva. It costs 750-900 credits and you can’t interact with the vendor unless you have at least Good reputation with the Pyke Syndicate.
Hutt Cartel Crest
The Hutt Cartel Crest reduces the damage taken from melee attacks.
Since it’s so easy to stay away from enemies, I only recommend using this Minor Charm with the close-quarters combat outfits.
You receive the Hutt Cartel Crest for achieving Excellent reputation with the Hutt Cartel for the first time.
Kama Feather Token
The Kama Feather Token improves your ability to sneak around the creatures on each planet.
There are hardly any animal enemies in this game, so there’s really no point in equipping this ever.
You can purchase the Kama Feather Token from an anonymous Hutt Cartel Merchant, a Smuggler affiliated with the Hutts inside their territory at the Hutt Poaching Outpost in the Hunter’s Canopy on Akiva. It costs 750-900 credits and you can’t interact with the vendor unless you have at least Good reputation with the Hutt Cartel.
Krayt Dragon Fang
The Krayt Dragon Fang increases the number of Adrenaline Rush targets by 1. It can help you get some achievements early, but it’s pretty universally useful.
The more frequently you activate Adrenaline Rush, the more valuable this Minor Charm becomes.
You can loot the Krayt Dragon Fang from a treasure chest at the Tusken Camp, near where you first meet the dirty, rotten scoundrel named Hoss. Don’t worry, there aren’t any Tusken Raiders to attack you.
Pyke Syndicate Crest
The Pyke Syndicate Crest gives you a small chance to not spend a grenade when throwing one. The chance seems to be smaller than the one offered by the Aurora Snowflake Pin.
It’s useful for close-quarters combat outfits, as you want to have the highest chance to get free grenades so you can hand them out like candy.
You receive the Pyke Syndicate Crest for achieving Excellent reputation with the Pykes for the first time.
Sunset Pebble
The Sunset Pebble increases the Adrenaline gained when you are detected by enemies, potentially enabling you to use an Adrenaline Rush immediately and regain the element of surprise.
It’s universally useful, but most helpful alongside stealth outfits.
You can purchase the Sunset Pebble from an anonymous Adventurer, a Hutt-affiliated Armorer inside their territory at the Hutt Cartel Storehouse on the Great Chott Salt Flat on Tatooine. It costs 750-900 credits and you can’t interact with the vendor unless you have at least Good reputation with the Hutt Cartel.
Tooka Paw
The Tooka Paw minimizes the fall damage you take, to the extent that you won’t ever take more than a single segment of HP.
This means it will regenerate out of combat and you won’t have to mess around with Bacta Vials. It’s a nice quality of life improvement if you have a spare slot.
You can loot the Tooka Paw from a chest at Typhon’s Rock at the Lost Steppe on Toshara. Check out our guide to the Tooka Paw charm for more informaiton.
Varaki Eye Talisman
The Varaki Eye Talisman makes droids a lot less likely to notice you.
It’s useful with the Disruptor set because it allows you to put yourself in a safe position before ionizing a droid to make it go haywire and explode.
You can purchase the Varaki Eye Talisman from Shuma, the unaffiliated Rogue Merchant and traveling saleswoman. You can find her at Typhon’s Rock on Toshara, but she sets up shop on every planet.
Vintage Chrono
The Vintage Chrono increases the size of the Super Cooling window (blue segment) , making it easier to do.
It’s particularly useful for the blaster-focused outfits and the Glacial Relic (Minor Charm), allowing it to be more beneficial to Adrenaline-heavy outfits as well.
You can loot the Vintage Chrono charm from a chest inside Curtek Homestead in South Jundland Wastes on Tatooine. Take the road through the archway, don’t go down the path that will lead you to Hoss.
Weathered Seashell Charm
The Weathered Seashell Charm makes you less likely to get hit by enemy blasterfire while sprinting or sliding.
It’s most useful with close-quarters combat outfits because you are more likely to need to run to cover. Those outfits also provide protection while sprinting, so this adds another layer, improving reliability.
You can buy the Weathered Seashell Charm off of this random lady (not a vendor) for 100 credits. She doesn’t tell you what she’s selling, but it is the Weathered Seashell Charm. She’s sitting down in the Market District in between the other two nearby vendors.
Wind Chime Ornament
The Wind Chime Ornament makes you build up Adrenaline like crazy while riding the speeder. It’s really nice when you’re on the speeder, but it’s worthless when you’re not.
Unless you’re trying to unlock all of the Gunslinger Expert abilities or trying to floor it to the ISB camp to clear your wanted status, it’s not worth equipping.
You can purchase the Wind Chime Ornament charm from an anonymous Pyke Syndicate Merchant, an Armorer affiliated with the Pykes inside their territory at the Pyke Syndicate Workshop at The Mirage. It costs 750-900 credits and you can’t interact with the vendor unless you have at least Good reputation with the Pyke Syndicate.
