All Ship Paint Finishes in Star Wars Outlaws: Full Catalog

Endonae by Endonae|

There are 40 Finishes you can use to customize the colors on the exterior your ship in Star Wars Outlaws. We’ll show you what each of the Finishes looks like and where to find them!

What are Finishes

Not to be confused with Paint Jobs for your speeder, Finishes are purely cosmetic items that allow you to change the paint job on your ship’s exterior, the Trailblazer’s hull.

Finishes are far simpler looking than speeder Paint Jobs, usually featuring a solid base color and sometimes 1-2 additional colors for linework and details.

While there are a bunch of unique options, about half of the Finishes combine one of 4 color schemes with a collection of design patterns. Almost all of the color and pattern combinations exist, though there are a couple that are missing.

Please note that while it may seem like there are multiple shades of a given color based on the in-game preview, in practice, the colors are the same on every ship. For example, Ruby red is the same color across all of the Finishes, and the gray bits are typically just the unpainted hull underneath.

The standardization of patterns and colors gives the strong impression that there were originally plans for some sort of configurator that would let you customize the trailblazer using a range of patterns, colors, and wear states like you can with Cal’s lightsaber(s) in Jedi Survivor.

You’ll find the vast majority of Finishes inside the large, yellow chests floating around in space, though there are a handful in chests down on the ground as well. A few are rewards for gaining reputation with the syndicates.

Ruby Finishes

There are 5 Ruby Finishes, all of which feature a red color prominently. You have access to the Cover, Cross, Streak, and Stripe patterns in Ruby.

Ruby Cover Finish Icon Ruby Cover Finish

The Ruby Cover Finish covers the top of the Trailblazer in red, while the sides remain unpainted.

You can loot the Ruby Cover Finish from a chest on the southeastern arm of Fuel Station Visavi in Imperial space over Toshara. The chest is outside and unrelated to the False Flag mission.

Ruby Cross Finish Icon Ruby Cross Finish

The Ruby Cross Finish uses red as the negative space surrounding the unpainted positive space of the cross.

You can loot the Ruby Cross Finish from a chest in one of the larger pieces of debris in the “southern” part of the Wreck Cluster over Toshara. The compartment isn’t shielded, but there are some of those explosive electric Slygels and gas canisters surrounding the chest.

Ruby Detail Finish

The Ruby Detail Finish adds a few lines of red along the spine of the ship and in a few other places, but the hull is mostly unpainted.

You can loot the Ruby Detail Finish along with the Verdant Stripe Finish from a pair of chests inside the largest piece of debris in the Ship Graveyard in space above Toshara. The compartment is ray shielded and mined, with the power source slightly hidden by another piece of the ship.

Ruby Streak Finish Icon Ruby Streak Finish

The Ruby Streak Finish adds streaks of red to the sides and turret regions of the Trailblazer. The majority of the top of the ship is unpainted.

You can loot the Ruby Streak Finish from a chest at the base of the Karaba Foothills on Akiva. It’s behind a stone wall blown open by Storm Troopers as they attempt to wipe out the Rebel Scum in that sector during the High Roller Expert mission.

Ruby Stripe Finish Icon Ruby Stripe Finish

The Ruby Stripe Finish uses an unpainted base with some red stripes perpendicular to the sides of the Trailblazer. The front bits are lighter than the rest of the hull, but it’s not nearly as pronounced as it looks in the preview.

You can loot the Ruby Stripe Finish from a chest floating around at the eastern edge of the Nebula Core above Kijimi.

Amber Finishes

There are 4 (yes, 4) Amber Finishes, all of which feature a yellow color prominently. You have access to the Cover, Cross, Detail, and Stripe patterns in “Amber”. The color is far too severely deficient of orange to be considered Amber if you ask me.

There is no Amber Streak Finish. Instead, the Forest Commando Finish drenches the Trailblazer in the Amber color.

Amber Cover Finish Icon Amber Cover Finish

The Ruby Cover Finish coats the top of the Trailblazer in yellow, while the sides remain unpainted. A non-existent Amber Streak pattern would invert the colors.

You can loot the Amber Cover Finish from the wreckage of a ship at the Battle Aftermath in Hutt Cartel space over Tatooine.

Dark Cross Finish Icon Dark Cross Finish

The Dark Cross Finish is really just the Amber Cross Finish. Somebody at Massive didn’t get the memo about the Trailblazer Finish naming scheme.

You can loot the Dark Cross Finish from a chest near the center of Shadow Pass in the Kijimi Nebula.

Amber Detail Finish IconAmber Detail Finish

The Amber Detail Finish is mostly unpainted with some yellow linework, mostly along the spine of the ship. The name is shared by the default Finish that comes with the Trailblazer when you initially steal it from Sliro on Canto Bight. However, the real color depicted in the default Finish is Cobalt Detail.

You can loot the Amber Detail Finish from a chest floating near the western edge of Pilot’s Edge in the Kijimi Nebula.

Amber Stripe Finish Icon Amber Stripe Finish

The Amber Stripe Finish is mostly unpainted with some yellow stripes perpendicular to the sides of the Trailblazer. The front bits are darker than the rest of the hull, but it’s not nearly as pronounced as it looks in the preview.

You can loot the Amber Stripe Finish from a chest at a Pyke outpost on the bank of the river at the southeastern edge of Pyke Crystal Mine in their territory in Stormhollow on Akiva.

Cobalt Finishes

There are 5 Cobalt Finishes, all of which feature a blue color prominently, sometimes light, sometimes dark. You have access to the Cover, Cross, Detail, Streak, and Stripe patterns in Cobalt.

Cobalt Cover Finish Icon Cobalt Cover Finish

The Cobalt Cover Finish coats the top of the Trailblazer in blue and small red accents, with stripes missing paint perpendicular to the sides of the vessel. The Cobalt Stripe finish inverts the blue painted and unpainted regions.

You can loot the Cobalt Cover Finish from a chest near part of the letdown that is the space worm in the Kijimi Nebula. It’s up past the Derelict Ship in the “northern” region of the nebula.

Cobalt Cross Finish Icon Cobalt Cross Finish

The Cobalt Cross Finish actually uses the blue color for the positive space of the cross while the negative space is unpainted, and all is right with the world.

You can loot the Cobalt Cross Finish from a chest near the center of the Convoy Shipwreck in Imperial space over Akiva.

Amber Stripe Finish Icon (Default) Cobalt Detail Finish (Default Trailblazer Appearance)

The default appearance of the Trailblazer goes by the name Amber Stripe Finish. However, that Finish already exists elsewhere in the game and the correct name for the default Finish based on its appearance is Cobalt Detail.

Cobalt Streak Finish Icon Cobalt Streak Finish

The Cobalt Streak Finish adds streaks of blue to the sides and turret regions of the Trailblazer. The majority of the ship remains unpainted with little red accents here and there.

You can loot the Cobalt Streak Finish from a chest inside a derelict ship with destructible walls in the debris field surrounding Renpalli Station over Toshara.

Cobalt Stripe Finish Icon Cobalt Stripe Finish

The Cobalt Stripe Finish is mostly unpaintedwith some blue stripes perpendicular to the sides of the Trailblazer and red accents. The front bits are blue, which is different from the Stripe patterns for the Ruby and Amber versions.

You can loot the Cobalt Stripe Finish from a chest at the major geological formation directly south of Mos Algo in the Western Dune Sea on Tatooine.

Verdant Finishes

There are 5 Verdant Finishes, each of which features a prominent green color. You have access to all of the different patterns including Cover, Cross, Detail, Streak, and Stripe. Why they didn’t stick with the gemstone naming scheme and call the green ones Emerald is anyone’s guess.

Verdant Cover Finish Icon Verdant Cover Finish

The Verdant Cover Finish coats almost the entire hull in deep green, with a bit of red detailing down the spine.

You can loot the Verdant Cover Finish from a chest near a bunch of space pirates in the center of the Kinro Comet orbiting Akiva.

Verdant Cross Finish Icon Verdant Cross Finish

Much like the Cobalt Cross Finish, the Verdant Cross Finish uses green for the positive space in the cross pattern and leaves the negative space unpainted. It has subtle blue accents in a few places too.

You can loot the Verdant Cross Finish from a chest behind a larger crate on the westernmost edge of the furthest landing pad from the Trailblazer’s in Myrra on Akiva.

Verdant Detail Finish Icon Verdant Detail Finish

The Verdant Detail Finish adds a few lines of green along the spine of the ship and in a few other places, but the hull is mostly unpainted.

You can loot the Verdant Detail Finish from a chest at The Crucible, at the center of the largest part of the debris field surrounding Renpalli Station over Toshara.

Verdant Streak Finish Icon Verdant Streak Finish

The Verdant Streak Finish is what the Verdant Detail Finish looks like when it wants to go out and celebrate. There’s green in most of the same spots as the Verdant Detail Finish, but with more along the sides of the ship and red accents.

You can loot the Verdant Streak Finish from a chest inside a ray shielded compartment at the center of the Wreck Cluster “southeast” of Imperial space over Toshara.

Verdant Stripe Finish Icon Verdant Stripe Finish

The Verdant Stripe Finish is mostly unpainted with some green stripes perpendicular to the sides of the Trailblazer and a few red accents. The front bits are darker than the rest of the hull, but it’s not nearly as pronounced as it looks in the preview.

You can loot the Ruby Detail Finish along with the Verdant Stripe Finish from a pair of chests inside the largest piece of debris in the Ship Graveyard in space above Toshara.

Syndicate Finishes

There’s a ship finish that matches each of the four outfits you get for maxing out your reputation with a syndicate. Each of them is located in one of the associated syndicate’s two vaults. The other vault contains the relevant speeder Paint Job.

Boonta Brawler Finish Icon Boonta Brawler Finish

The Boonta Brawler Finish features a gradient from brown to yellow. It’s not green like it seems in the preview. The idea is to depict the rocky sandscape of Tatooine.

You can loot the Boonta Brawler Finish from the Hutt Cartel Vault in the Restricted Area of their territory in Mos Eisley on Tatooine.

Crimson Reign Finish Icon Crimson Reign Finish

The Crimson Reign Finish features a matte black base laced with Crimson Dawn’s signature golden art deco linework.

You can loot the Crimson Reign Finish from the Crimson Dawn Vault in the Restricted Area inside their territory on Kijimi.

Imperial Finish Icon Imperial Finish

The Imperial Finish mixes gray with other gray for a gray appearance reminiscent of their Star Destroyers and smaller vessels. It’s not as dark as it looks in the preview.

You can loot the Imperial Finish from the Pyke Syndicate Vault in the Restricted Area of their territory in Myrra on Akiva.

Kijimi Explorer Finish Icon Kijimi Explorer Finish

The Kijimi Explorer Finish offers a snow-white base overlaid with orange blocks and lines. It’s kind of a combination of the Stripe and Streak patterns.

You can loot the Kijimi Explorer Finish from the Ashiga Clan Vault in the Restricted Area in their territory on Kijimi. Since the Ashiga Clan only have one vault, you’ll find the Kijimi Explorer Paint Job there too.

Nonstandard Finishes

There are 9 finishes that don’t conform to a color scheme, pattern, or theme. Most of them have more detail or affect the Trailblazer’s appearance in ways beyond color. Each also has a pretty grandiose name.

Clear Detail Finish Icon Clear Detail Finish

The Clear Detail Finish is the most nude Finish available, with only slightly darker gray for the details compared to the unpainted gray majority of the hull.

You can loot the Clear Detail Finish from a chest behind a locked door at The Cauldron, the central island out in the Great Basin on Akiva. You’ll need to pick the lock with your Data Spike.

Cloudscape Finish Icon Cloudscape Finish

The Cloudscape Finish covers the mid-section of the Trailblazer in Cobalt blue, coloring the details in gray with some red accents, and leaving the rest unpainted.

You can loot the Cloudscape Finish from a chest on the beach of Hunter’s Canopy on Akiva. The site is near the northern part of the Great Basin, by Research Station 57.

Fortune Hunter Finish

The Fortune Hunter Finish is a dual-tone finish that has the Trailblazer yellow in the front half, and teal in the back half. The goal of this finish is to be inconspicuous and come off as an amateur paint job so others won’t suspect it’s carrying valuable cargo.

To earn the Fortune Hunter’s Finish, you’ll need to complete a Miyuki Contract with all four types of cargo loaded.

Nightfall Finish Icon Nightfall Finish

The Nightfall Finish is jet black, like the Hermit Coating and Dominance Paint Job.

You win the Nightfall Finish for defeating Mehdo, the Kessel Sabacc High-Roller at the Domak Refectory.

Sandstorm Finish Icon Sandstorm Finish

The Sandstorm Finish leaves the mid-section of the Trailblazer unpainted while the rest is covered in Amber yellow, with darker gray details and red accents.

You can loot the Sandstorm Finish from a chest inside a barred room at the Decrepit Starport on the bank of the Western Dune Sea on Tatooine. You’ll need to unlock the Fusioncutter to reach this chest.

Shimmering Finish Icon Shimmering Finish

The Shimmering Finish makes the entire hull nice and shiny silver, with little Amber Yellow accents as a flourish. No other Finish in the game alters the luster so significantly.

You can loot the Shimmering Finish from a chest floating around amid the Revalator Wreckage over Akiva. The wreckage only appears after you’ve completed the mission Revalator and finished the main story.

Starburst Finish Icon Starburst Finish

The Starburst Finish has a rose gold mid-section with lavender details and red accents. The rest of the ship is unpainted. It matches the Violet Brezak Paint Job quite well.

You can loot the Starburst Finish from a chest behind bars near Kijimiko Square, south of the Domak Refectory on Kijimi. You’ll need to unlock the Fusioncutter to reach this chest.

Weathered Finish Icon Weathered Finish

The Weathered Finish is just the default Finish (Cobalt Details), except Kay tried using paint that wasn’t rated to endure atmospheric reentry so there are scorch marks across the ship.

You can loot the Weathered Finish from a chest in a cave near the eastern edge of the Pyke Syndicate’s territory near the Pyke Poaching Station on the Lost Steppe on Toshara.

Windland Finish Icon Wildland Finish

The Wildlands Finish has a beige painted mid-section while the rest of the ship is Verdant green with red detailing and accents. It’s one of the few fully-painted Finishes.

You can loot the Wildland Finish from a chest on a ledge in a little cave along the main river inside Karaba Foothills. You’ll need to unlock the Hydrorepulsor for your speeder to reach this area.

Promotional Finishes

There are 5 Finishes that aren’t obtainable through normal gameplay and require you to do something outside the game to get them.

Forest Commando Finish Icon Forest Commando Finish

The Forest Commando Finish is really just a variant of the Amber Cover Finish in disguise. It doesn’t have the unpainted Streaks on the side, but it’s not brown like it looks in the preview.

You can purchase the Forest Commando Finish for 100 Ubisoft Connect Coins as a Legendary reward through Ubisoft Connect. You do not need to spend additional money to get this.

Kessel Runner Finish Icon Kessel Runner Finish

The Kessel Runner Finish gives the Trailblazer the same dingy, unmaintained brown that accrued on the Millenium Falcon after Han Solo won it from Lando.

Kessel Runner Finish Game

You could receive the Kessel Runner Paint Job as part of the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack for pre-ordering Star Wars Outlaws.

Rogue Infiltrator Finish Icon Rogue Infiltrator Finish

The Rogue Infiltrator Finish looks reminiscent of the Cross pattern, but it’s subtly different. There’s both gray paint and unpainted areas.

You receive the Rogue Infiltrator Finish for purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws.

Sabacc Shark Finish Icon Sabacc Shark Finish

The Sabacc Shark Finish is bright orange, I guess to match the top of the Gondar Mask and seating on the Sabacc Shark Paint Job. There are some black accents, though they are in the same regions as the Stripe patterns rather than details and accents on other ships.

You receive the Sabacc Shark Finish for purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws.

Hunter's Legacy Finish (Ship) Icon Hunter’s Legacy Finish

The Hunter’s Legacy finish is inspired by Boba Fett. It features his signature pale green with dark reds on the sides of the ship’s hull. The composition is complete with a very dark grey around the cockpit is as well as at the tail.

Hunter's Legacy Ship Finish Preview

You receive this finish as part of the Hunter’s Legacy cosmetic bundle, included in the first DLC from the Season Pass.

Boba Fett’s Mythosaur sigil is very proudly displayed on the back side of the ship’s hangar door. This way wherever you go, you will always be staring at this awesome marking:

Hunter's Legacy Ship Finish Mythosaur Sigil

Cartel Ronin Finish (Ship) Icon Cartel Ronin Finish

The Cartel Ronin matches Kay’s outfit bearing the same name. It has dark blue main color all over the hull and small red accents.

Cartel Ronin Ship Finish Preview

You receive this finish as part of the Cartel Ronin cosmetic bundle, included in the first DLC from the Season Pass.

Sandstorm Finish Icon Sandstorm Finish (Bundle)

The Sandstorm Finish is a matte brown paint that makes the ship look more rugged and sturdy. It fits well with any desert and sandstorm-rich environment.

This is the second Sandstorm Finish. Either someone in the dev team has not been payijng attention or it is deliberately repeated name. In any case, this finish is quite different than the previous one.

Sandstorm Finish Ship Paint

The Sandstorm Finish is included in the Desert Nomad Bundle, available either as a separate purchase or as part of the Season Pass.

Royal Chromium Finish ICon Royal Chromium Finish

The Royal Chromium is a dual-tone finish featuring dark grey for the front of the ship and light yellow for the rear. These are typical colors for the ships in service of the House of Naboo.

Royal Chromium Finish Ship Paint

The Royal Chromium Finish is included in the Royal Chromium Bundle, available either as a separate purchase or as part of the Season Pass.
