Where to find Yorn: Star Wars Outlaws Missing Brother Walkthrough

Vulkk by Vulkk|

While on Tatooine, you can pick up an Intel quest from a Hutt enforcer who asks you to help find her missing brother Yorn. We will show you where to find all clues in Mos Eisley and where to find Yorn, as well as all outcomes after you talk to him!

How to get the Intel quest

While in the Scavenger’s Draw area in Mos Eisley, you can see a green twi’lek hanging outside of Scavenger’s Draw, south of where Tik’Tak Tandishek and Kara Kiloka merchants are.

Talk to her. She will ask you for help finding her missing brother Yorn. The only clue she will give you is that he “likes to drink away his credits at the Wonto District”.

Video Walkthrough

The video walkthrough follows the steps described in the guide below. We will also show you all available outcomes and unique dialogue lines from the decision you can make in the end about Yorn.

Clues about Yorn’s location in Mos Eisley

The first clue you get from the Hutt enforcer, is to look for Yorn around the Wonto District. This is the eastern area of Mos Eisley.

If you skip a step, the next NPC you are supposed to talk to, might not be there. Some of the NPCs may change appearance, but their location and dialogue is always where the guide points you to go.

From the place where you talked to the twi’lek, head through the shops and exit throug the west door. Near the corrupt Imperial officer, you will find a rodian sitting on a table.

Talk to her. She will tell you to look for Yorn at the Dizzy Droid, where he spends most nights.

There may be an NPC you can ask for another clue at the Chalmun’s Cantina. For me on all of my playthroughs, though, this NPC was not there.

Next, head south and talk to the barman. She will tell you that he likes to hit up the gambling parlor in the market.

Head west to the bazaar where you will learn your next clue about Yorn’s location. From the Fast Travel point in front of the Hutt District, head east and enter the dark tunnel, which will lead you down and out into the market area. This NPC will tell you that Yorn has a camp in the canyon near Mos Algo.

Find and talk to Yorn at his Desert Hideout

After the Intel quest gets updated, you will see a marker in the canyon north from the Mos Algo town and old mine. You may have visited this hideout before. There are thieves usually in this area.

When you go there for the quest, there won’t be any thieves. Yorn is there. From the Mos Algo Fast Travel Point, head straight north until you see the climable walls on your right.

Should you kill Yorn or save him

When you talk to Yorn, you will learn that he has no sister and you have been lied to. At this point, the green twi’lek will show up and start argueing with Yorn.

It turns out that she hired Yorn for a job, but he ran away with the credits. She used Kay to help her track him down. You have four options: let them fight, kill Yorn or kill the twi’lek, kill both NPCs.

Yorn, Kay and the Hutt Enforcer Twi'lek

As soon as the conversation ends, before you react at all, the Intel is Resolved and the quest is considered completed. Your further actions determine your reward and reputation gain or loss.

In the attached video walkthrough near the top of the guide, you can see all different outcomes from this quest.

The Missing Brother intel quest has absolutely no relations to the main story of the game. The small amount of reputation you can lose or gain may reflect on your future decisions if you happen to drop too low with the Hutts.

What happens if you kill Yorn

If you kill Yorn as soon as cinematic ends, you can then talk to the twi’lek. You will earn a small amount of reputation with the Hutt Cartel.

What happens if you kill the twi’lek

If you decide to side with Yorn and help him, you have to defeat the twi’lek with fists. Shooting will also make Yorn aggro on you (this could be a bug, but it happened every time I tested it). After it’s done, talk to him.

He will not reveal any additional details of the story, but he will pay you 200 credits and you will lose a small amount of reputation with the Hutt Cartel.

What if you don’t interfere at all

If you let the two NPCs fight and resolve the conflict on their own, Yorn always wins (according to my numerous tests). You lose a small amount of reputation with the Hutts.

Sometimes you watch them fight for a few minutes, other times they shoot at each other from 2 meters distance and can’t hit each other.

If you let them shoot each other, after Yorn shoots the twi’lek, you will not be able to talk to him any more. He will just return to his position where you first found him.

UPDATE: As San Holo reported in a comment below, they did this scenario and were able to talk to Yorn after the fight. This might have been a bug that was fixed.

What if you kill both

If you go on a revenge spree and kill both NPCs – one for lying to you, the other one for being a scummy mercenary, you will end up losing Hutt Cartel reputation and not earning any credits.
