Star Wars Outlaws has released Title Update 1.4.0 and with it comes the first DLC Story Pack, Wild Card. Kay must infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament and this guide will tell you how you can get started.
How to get the Wild Card DLC
Wild Card is a new series of quests available in Star Wars Outlaws. It was added with update 1.4.0 on November 21, 2024.
The Wild Card DLC for Star Wars Outlaws is available through a standalone purchase or a season pass. If you have the Ultimate Edition of Outlaws, then you’ll already have a season pass.
The standalone DLC and Season Pass can be purchased from the Ubisoft Connect app or through Steam. If you play on consoles, you can also get the DLC from PlayStation and Xbox’s stores.
- The standalone purchase costs $14.99 USD
- The season pass costs $39.99 USD
You will also need to download and install Star Wars Outlaws update 1.4.0. Once you purchase the DLC and install 1.4.0, you’ll be able to access the Wild Card story arc.
Requirements to unlock the Wild Card DLC
You’ll be able to access the Wild Card DLC fairly early on in the game. To access it, you’ll need to unlock the Power modification for your blaster pistol.
To unlock the power modification, you’ll have to complete the story quest The Wreck, then complete one of the following quests: The Safecracker, The Heavy, or The Droidsmith.
Completing one of those quests will grant you the story quest, Gunsmith. Complete Gunsmith by installing the Power module onto your blaster and you’ll receive the first quest from the DLC, called A Message.
How to start the Wild Card Story Arc
Once you have met the unlock requirements, your journal will have the mission A Message. Go to the holotable inside the Trailblazer and interact with it.
You’ll get a holocall from a Quarren contract broker. He’ll want to you go to Renpalli Station in Toshara’s orbit. From there, fly to Renpalli Station and follow the Quarren to meet your contact.
From here on it should be fairly straightforward. Enjoy the cutscenes and get started with the next quest, Wild Card! Though to access the full story arc, you’ll need to complete The High Roller quest.
You can complete the “A Message” and “Wild Card” quests without completing The High Roller quest, but you’ll be unable to proceed further until you unlock Lando Calrissian as an expert.
