This guide will show you how to complete the quest, Wild Card, the first big quest of the Wild Card DLC for Star Wars Outlaws. Kay is being coerced into competing and winning in a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, and now she needs to figure out where it is.
How to get the Wild Card Quest
To get the Wild Card quest, you’ll need to complete the quest A Message. Once you complete that, you’ll immediately start Wild Card when you finish talking to your contact.
Your first task will be to search the Renpalli Station cantina for clues about the Morenia.
How to find Info on the Morenia
When you walk into the cantina after your meeting, go to the south end of the cantina. You’ll find a table and a stool you can eavesdrop from.
Sit down at the bar stool and you’ll enter eavesdrop mode. Look to your right and focus in on the Pantoran woman talking to the Rodian.
You’ll learn info about a droid that bought a lot of fuel from her, so your next lead will likely be in the hangar bay.
Go to the north end of the hangar bay and look for a chair where you can listen to a conversation. You’ll learn that the head engineer is selling hyperfuel to the Morenia’s supply runner.
Go east and you’ll find the head engineer with two other workers. She’ll be outlined yellow if you use the Nix Sense ability near her.
You can either bribe her for information or send Nix to steal her datapad. If you want to keep your credits, send Nix. If your goal is to be a true scoundrel, pay up the 250 Credits.
The last conversation you’ll need to listen in on is at the south end of the hangar bay. With all the info gathered, you can fly the Trailblazer out of Renpalli Station.
Following the Morenia’s Shuttle
After the cutscene, start following the shuttle from the Morenia. Once they notice you a chase sequence will start. Follow it and avoid ramming into large debris or EMP mines.
The scene where the shuttle notices you, is scripted. We tried to follow and hiding at the maximum allowed distance and always the same outcome happened.
The shuttle will get near a beacon and jump into hyperspace. Interact with the beacon so ND-5 can start decrypting the message.
Starfighters will start attacking you. Take them out and return to the beacon to resume parsing the info.
After defeating the two waves of fighters, a Morenia’s Crew SRX-T Manta cruiser will appear. Be sure to destroy the cruiser’s shield generator when its shields are down.
Finish parsing the info at the beacon and you’ll complete the quest Wild Card. You’ll also unlock the Anoat Sector as a hyperspace jump target.
You will need to complete The High Roller quest before you can continue the Wild Card story. After completing The High Roller, jump to the Anoat Sector to start the next quest, The Game.
