Learn how to start A Pirate’s Plight, the first quest of the A Pirate’s Fortune DLC for Star Wars Outlaws. Find out where to go, find where the treasure map is buried, and how to set sail in the cosmic seas with Hondo Ohnaka!
How to start A Pirate’s Plight
As the first quest of A Pirate’s Fortune, you’ll first need to complete the main story of Star Wars Outlaws. After that, you will receive a call from ND-5 about a strange beeping coming from within the Trailblazer.
Go to the Trailblazer and look towards the bunks. Interact with the source of the beeping to start a cutscene with a holomessage left for Jet Kordo. This message was made by none other than Hondo Ohnaka!
Find Information about Qorvino
Hondo mentioned that his rival, Captain Qorvino, knows the location of the treasure map needed to reach Great Khepi Treasure. Travel to Akiva and reach Research Station 57. You may remember this area as you recruited Gedeek here.
The easiest way to reach your objective is to swing in from the east onto the dam then make your way west towards the command center.
Take out the Imperial patrol quietly, slice the data port west of the door guarded by a camera, and go inside.
Once you’re inside, take out the stormtroopers in the hall to your left, then go through that hall to reach the command center. Slice the terminal near the windows to access the files on Qorvino.
Travel to Karaba Foothills and reach Qorvino’s Cave. Once you reach it, defeat the bandits inside.
Find a clue to Qorvino’s Location
When the bandits are cleared out from the cave, read the datapad on the droid workbench. You’ll receive coordinates to Qorvino’s island safe house in the southwest of the map.
If you’re in good standing with the Hutts, you can fast travel to the Hutt territory to quickly reach Qorvino’s island. If not, it’s just a slightly longer trip but it’s a safe one as you’re traveling over The Great Basin.
Clear out the bandits on the island and look for clues. Climb up to the ruined building on the island, and you’ll find a datapad that displays a map and a large red X.
Locate the Treasure Map
The island shown on the datapad is southwest of Qorvino’s Island. Take your speeder there and you’ll know you’re at the right spot when you see a small island with three palm trees.
Dig up the map on the island to complete A Pirate’s Plight and start the next quest, Brave the Unknown. At the location, you will find a quest item and the Bottled Nebula Cloud major charm.
