Trailblazer Passive Systems Revamped
Before A Pirate’s Fortune DLC came out, Passive Systems were abilities you could activate such as the Heat Sink. Countermeasures, or the Sensor Jammer.
After completing the DLC quest, Brave the Unknown, what was once known as Passive Systems now become known as Active Systems, and you can get up to two slots for the new Passive Systems.

Passive System Trader Locations
You can start buying some when you land at Hauler’s Keep station in the Khepi Station after completing Brave the Unknown. There are two vendors that will sell you these new components.
You’ll find a vendor named Jagra in Hauler’s Keep in the Khepi System. They’re very hard to miss as they’re at the crossroads of the cantina and Reess Passik’s office.
Alternatively, there’s a Miyuki Trader along the south wall of Achra Station in Akiva’s Orbit that will also sell you passive systems components.
Both Jagra and the Miyuki Trader sell the same Passive Modules but each will have their own unique Intel to sell.
A good first buy is the Miyuki Splice Core which unlocks the second Passive Systems slot for the Trailblazer.
Passive System Locations
This section will show you where you can find Passive System modules that are not available at the vendors. You can earn two from Intel, one from the Miyuki Stash in Hauler’s Keep, and three are found in space chests.
For opening the chests within the Khepi System, it would be best to take the Refractor ship. You’ll gain this ship after completing the Hauler’s Keep Mechanic Intel (also used to get the Enriched Coolant).
The Refractor is able to open chests that the Trailblazer cannot, and is better suited for extended stays within the nebula due to its superior Ion Shield.
How to unlock the Enriched Coolant
After completing the final mission of A Pirate’s Fortune, Dead Man’s Tale, you’ll automatically unlock the Hauler’s Keep Mechanic Intel.
Go to the hangar bay in Hauler’s Keep and talk to the mechanic next to the Rokana Raider ship. Agree to take it on a test flight and pick up the cargo she wants to get the Enriched Coolant.
With this intel complete, you can now fly in this ship, the R93 Refractor, within the Khepi System!
How to unlock the Reinforced Coils
Go to Hauler’s Keep and look for the sign with the up arrow on the north wall. Grapple then climb up to the elevated platform.
Just across the broken walkway and hug the left wall to find some metal bars you can use to access another walkway above you.
Use your grapple hook to swing across the room to reach the opposite walkway. Jump onto some metal bars on the soft wall until you reach a platform with a small chest and a ladder. Deploy the ladder so it acts as a checkpoint should you fall off in the next sections.
Continue using the metal bars on the south wall to reach the next platform. Send Nix to press a button across from you to bring the lift with the cube crate to you.
Grab onto the left side of the box and let it take you to the platform where the large chest. Open the large chest to get your Reinforced Coils!
How to unlock the Adaptive Generators
To unlock the Adaptive Generators, you must first complete the quest, Jet Kordo’s Legacy. After you have done this, talk to this man in Hauler’s Keep. He’ll be right behind the Trailblazer. He’ll give you the Intel quest, Jet Kordo’s Hideout.
He’ll tell you Jet Kordo is alive and is on Toshara. Fast Travel to Jaunta’s Hope and go southwest towards the intel icon.
Once inside, sit on the chair to wait for Jet Kordo. You’ll meet the intel giver and a couple of his friends. He has a debt to pay off Jabba and wants the Trailblazer to pay it off.
Choose a dialogue option and resolve the issue. Go inside the lit room to find a large chest where you’ll find the Adaptive Generators.
How to unlock the Conductor Shields
Look for a large, lit asteroid on the west side of the Mynock Lair. In front of a smooth, circular area, you’ll find a large chest that contains the Concuctor Shields.
How to unlock the Over-Clocked Fire Control
The Over-Clocked Fire Control is east of Hauler’s Keep between two satellites in an asteroid inside the nebula.
How to unlock the Supercharged Ions
The Supercharged Ions are found on the west edge of the Khepi System. It will be between two satellites within a cluster of asteroids inside the nebula.
Miyuki Trade League
By completing smuggling quests for the Miyuki Trade League, you can unlock new Passive Systems modules for the Trailblazer. These include the Reactive Heatsinks, Precision Optics, Kinetic Capacitors, and the Turbocharged Servos.
You gain the ability to take on these quests after finishing A Pirate’s Bounty DLC quest, No Prey, No Pay. Reess Passik will become a new contract broker and completing contracts for him can unlock these components as rewards.
