Fortnite’s last Star Wars update of the season is here

The Star Wars mini-season is about to end. With just one week left, we got the last content update that includes a new skin for Rey and, most importantly, the ability to shoot our enemies down from an Imperial Star Destroyer. Unlike bosses like Godzilla or Dr. Doom, Star Destroyers are invincible. All you can do is run and pray that it doesn’t come out of hyperspace on top of you.

To culminate the Star Wars-themed season, an event called Death Star Sabotage is going to take place on June 7, 2PM, where players will work together to destroy the Death Star.

Sequel Trilogy Graphic Novel by Dark Horse

To celebrate ten years of The Force Awakens, Lucasfilm and Dark Horse have teamed up to release graphic novel adaptations, all put together in one single volume. Written by Alessandro Ferrari, it will have a total of 194 pages with art by Ingo Römling.

Star Wars: The Sequel Trilogy graphic novel collection by Dark Horse has a price tag of $19.99 and is coming out on November 11, 2025. You can pre-order it from online stores or your local bookstore/comic shop.

Ryan Reynolds wants to do an R-rated Star Wars project

In an episode of The Box Office podcast, Ryan Reynolds reveals that he has pitched to Disney the idea of making an R-rated Star Wars property. He emphasized that he doesn’t want to do an R-rated project to be vulgar, but as a “Trojan horse for emotion”.

He is more interested in participating as a writer or a producer rather than starring in it. I believe that Andor can pave the way for all kinds of Star Wars projects to be made in the future.

An R-Rated Star Wars property sounds very interesting, but exploring something new in Star Wars is something that must be approached with a lot of care and respect for the IP. It’s probably too soon to make any speculations, but it would be refreshing.

The Rise of Skywalker 4 (of 5)

The fourth issue of Marvel’s adaptation of The Rise of Skywalker. Kylo Ren and Rey are in the middle of their long-awaited confrontation when the death of General Leia strikes them both. Release date: May 28, 2025.
