Find Smuggler Cache 52 |
00:03 | Narrator (Vulkk) | Greetings, I’m Vulkk. In this video I want to show you how to pick up the holotracker. After you complete the main quest on Tushara called The Wreck, you’ve met ND-5. You have a conversation with him here in the cockpit. And before you start the next quest which is Hyperspace, you come over here and pick up this item. |
00:30 | Kay | ND-5, what’s this? |
00:33 | ND-5 | A Holotracker. Used to belong to Jet Kordo, the former owner of the Trailblazer. |
00:38 | Kay | Oh, I thought Slyra owned the Trailblazer. |
00:42 | ND-5 | You’re not the first to steal this ship, Kay. Here, there’s a holodisk inside. Take a look. |
00:49 | Jet Kordo | Hello, this is Jet Kordo. It’s almost time to do this job, but first we need some precautions. That thing you’re holding is a holotracker. Trade League members, such as myself, use them to find vaults to store contraband. But I’ve taken a couple of those vaults off the grid. No one’s gonna find them, but us. Just don’t lose that holotracker and the disks. Because we don’t want anyone else to find these vaults and take the score. I have spoken. |
01:24 | Kay | So, a treasure map. |
01:26 | ND-5 | A holotracker. There’s a map on the holodisk that should point you to a specific location. |
01:32 | Kay | And where does this one point? |
01:35 | ND-5 | Looks like it’s right here on Tushara. So just activate the map and have a look around. |
01:40 | Kay | Alright, should be easy. Let’s see what Jet left behind. |
01:51 | Narrator | There is a special place in the quest log for Jet Kordo’s legacy. There are one or two vaults on each one of the planets you’re about to visit. And it all starts here with the holotracker. So, we’re very quickly going to travel to Jaunta’s Hope. |
02:29 | Narrator | And from there we head southeast. |
02:39 | Kay | Huh, looks like the landmark on the map. Let’s check it out. |
02:46 | Narrator | Every one of Jet Kordo’s legacy vaults starts with this marked stone that you have to find on the holotracker. |
02:52 | Kay | Huh, Kordo must have tagged this site. I guess that symbol unlocked the tracker. |
03:30 | Narrator | When you rotate, wherever your camera is pointing, that’s where the holotracker is detecting whether there is something or not. That’s how you detect the correct direction. |
05:04 | Narrator | That’s literally what we will be following throughout the other planets, the Miyuki trade line. |
05:12 | Kay | So, this tracker points out hidden trade league crates as well. |
05:15 | Narrator | We also get the intel for the hidden smuggler caches. Whenever you’re close to one of those, the holotracker will automatically start beeping. It’s a little bit harder to detect when you’re on your speeder, but if you listen carefully, you will hear the sound of that notification, even on the speeder. |
06:05 | Jet Kordo | Ion, I need you to remain calm. Dorhal sold us out, so I had to take care of some things. |
06:13 | Unknown Person | What did you do? |
Speaker 2 | Dorhal betrayed us, and I can prove it. He put the whole crew and the heist itself at risk. We need to go to the backup vault. I will prove it to you. | |
06:24 | Kay | ND-5, I found one of Jet Kordo’s vaults. Hope place has been cleared out though. |
06:30 | ND-5 | Anything valuable? |
06:32 | Kay | Got something, yeah, but there’s another holodisc with a recording from Kordo. Seems like the heist didn’t go as planned. |
06:40 | ND-5 | They rarely do. |
06:42 | Kay | There’s gotta be more of these out there. He mentioned there were other vaults used for the heist. |
06:47 | ND-5 | Could be worth looking into. |
06:50 | Kay | Yeah, maybe Kordo pulled this one off. |
07:02 | Narrator | Nearby is the first, what I call, tutorial cache. This one. It’s actually marked with its location. The rest of the caches are not. |
07:24 | Narrator | That’s the beeping mark when you’re close to a smuggler cache. |
07:40 | Narrator | That’s what every smuggler cache looks like. Half-buried treasure chest. They never contain anything major. No collectibles, no gear pieces. However, they do count towards this number here. The total number of undiscovered treasures on the map that you’re exploring. So that’s it. Thank you. |
