| 0:07 | To reach Excavation Site 12 on Akiva, you need to complete The Mechanic quest to unlock the mechanic expert. This will allow you to ride your speeder over deep water. |
| 0:18 | Excavation Site 12 is located in the southern part of the Great Basin region on Akiva. It is an Imperial camp full of troopers, security cameras and working personnel. |
| 0:28 | There are multiple entry points. The video walkthrough as well as our written walkthrough on VULKK.com shows you the approach from Entry Point 1 on the map shown here. |
| 0:41 | Take out the two troopers on the landing pad. Then take care of the two technicians below on the ground level. Don’t forget to disable or trap the Alarm panel, just in case. |
| 2:11 | To slice the terminal, you need the Slicing Kit, which you unlock automatically by acquiring the Slicer Expert Aila Bren. Getting at least one of the Upgrades for the Slicing Kit will help speed your job here. |
| 2:38 | Before you head down to the cave, let’s clear up some things on the surface level. |
| 3:26 | The officer in this tent used to drop the Cave keycard, which you can use as an alternative to turn off the red shield at the cave’s entrance. After Update 1.2, the card doesn’t drop here for me anymore. |
| 3:46 | Slice the terminal to turn off the security cameras. |
| 3:54 | The first treasure chest is at the other end of the tent. It contains a Blaster Recirculator – a rare upgrade item for your blaster. |
| 6:49 | This is Chest number 4, as marked on the map you saw in the beginning of the video. This one gives you the expert key part required to unlock the Electro-Shock Prod – a very useful ability! |
| 7:18 | Next, let’s go to the cave next. |
| 7:36 | After you get to the cave’s lower level, take out all NPCs. You can aggro them or use a silent approach. On one of the crates, you will find an Imperial Bunker Keycard. |
| 7:50 | The treasure chest in the corner gives you upgrade materials. |
| 7:54 | The treasure chest in the locked room contains the Cyclone Relic Major Charm. |
| 9:06 | Head back outside for one last item – an ISB Report collectible. You will find it on the south side of the area, on top of some crates, behind a technician. |
