Learn how to unlock and complete the job “Feeedom”, where you steal the Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”, Yorinobu Arasaka’s personal custom variant of Rayfield’s Caliburn.
Prerequisites
Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred” is one of four new vehicles added to Cyberpunk 2077 with Patch 2.3. You can get this car by completing a side job called “Freedom”. To unlock it, you need to first complete the following:
- Complete “The Beast in Me“
- Complete “Transmission”
- Complete “Search and Destroy”
“Transmission” is a main job and you cannot skip or forget it. It becomes available after you clear the Grand Imperial Mall and return to Brigitte.
“Search and Destroy” is also a main job. It takes place in Heywood’s Vista Del Rey and the job is given to you by Goro Takemura.
Freedom Job Walkthrough
After you meet all of the requirements, El Capitan will contact you through a message saying that he has a big opportunity for you. This unlocks the Side Job: Freedom.
After you arrive at the Coronado Dam in Santo Domingo, search for an engineer among the bodies. The intel he has will take you back to a construction site in Rancho Coronado.
Eliminate the Arasaka enemy NPCs guarding the Caliburn. These guards aren’t pushovers.
Use the computer that’s in front of the Caliburn. Doing this will bring the car’s autodrive system online, and it will drive away.
Use the computer again to read all messages and files. One of them mentions the original owner of this car, Yorinobu freaking Arasaka himself.
Understandably, El Capitan wants nothing to do with this after finding out. But we don’t pass up an opportunity to get a unique car, right?
There is a computer a few meters away from the laptop. Before going to recover the Caliburn “Mordred”, you can add your name to the owners list. Doing so saves you the last hassle of this mission, which is running away from the NCPD.
Look for the key on the workbench in the opposite side of the computer. It’s important to point out that the key appears only after sending the info to El Capitan.
If you leave the area, the key will disappear, and you won’t be able to claim the car.
Search for the Caliburn “Mordred” in the designated area. It will try to escape, follow it, and damage it to make it stop. A fast and weaponized car like the Outlaw “Weiler” makes this task easier.
Getting inside the Caliburn “Mordred” triggers a response from the NCPD. All that’s left to do is escape them. That is, unless you added your name to the owners’ list.
Once it’s done, you’ll have successfully stolen this unique car from Yorinobu Arasaka.
