Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney is shutting down, new The Bad Batch novel and everything else that happened in the week of July 19 – July 25, 2025.

Take a look at the Lucasfilm Pavilion at SDCC 2025

Lucasfilm has built a special Pavilion on SDCC where fans can see multiple displays that cover Lucasfilm’s 20 years of animation. It has items from the first season of The Clone Wars, Tales, Rebels, The Bad Batch, and even the upcoming show, Maul – Shadow Lord, which is releasing next year.

The displayed items include busts, models, props, and concept art for all of these shows.

A video on the Star Wars YouTube channel is available for all of us who aren’t attending San Diego Comic-Con.

Hasbro Vintage Collection LAAT Gunship

There are many elements that make SDCC a unique experience for fans. One of them is the fact that pretty much every major brand always makes important announcements of its upcoming products.

This year, Hasbro revealed the Republic LAAT Gunship from Attack of the Clones for a whopping price tag of 449.99 (USD/Euros).

It measures approximately 71 centimeters long (28.74 in), 78.5 centimeters wide (30.91 in), and 26.9 centimeters tall (10.61 in). It is a little over 20% bigger than the toy from 2013.

It requires a total of 8000 backers before September 8th at 11:59 pm ET. The three additional tiers unlock members of the Jedi Council, all new additions to the Vintage Collection, including Coleman Trebor (10k backers), Saesee Tiin (12k backers), and Agen Kolar (14k backers).

If this crowdfunding succeeds, the Vintage Collection LAAT Gunship will start shipping in the Fall of 2026.
