EA Star Wars games receive a heavy discount, HasLab LAAT gets backed, Andor wins 4 Emmy Awards, and everything that happened in the week of September 6 – September 12, 2025.
Andor wins 4 Emmy Awards
The Emmy Awards ceremony took place last Saturday. Andor was nominated for 11 categories (it should have been more), but it only ended up winning four awards. The winning categories were:
- Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Period Or Fantasy Program (One Hour Or More)
- Outstanding Picture Editing For A Drama Series
- Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie
- Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes
While it is disappointing that none of the actors were nominated, it’s nice that some of the team involved were able to win in their respective categories.
Hopefully, this will become more common in the upcoming years rather than continuing to be a very rare occurrence.
Discounted Star Wars games on Steam
EA is currently having a special sale on Steam. There are many games with heavy discounts. Obviously, this includes games like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (75%) , Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (80%), Battlefront II (80%) , and Squadrons (85%).
The discount also applies to the EA Star Wars Triple Bundle (85%), which includes Squadrons, Fallen Order, and Battlefront II.
The sale will last until September 25, so you still have time to decide whether or not to purchase them.
Vintage Collection LAAT/i Gunship is coming
Some months ago, HasLab revealed its most recent Star Wars project. The LAAT/i Gunship needed a total of 8000 backers in order to secure its production.
For most of the time, it really looked like it was going to get cancelled, but it ended up with a total of 9,776 backers.
While that number isn’t bad, it’s still not enough to unlock all three tiers, which would add Coleman Trebor, Saesee Tinn, and Agen Kolar.
With a price tag of $449.99, I am surprised that it got backed. Hopefully, Hasbro adds some extra things despite not unlocking any of the extra tiers.
