How Temples and Lost Pages work
In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you can explore various locations to earn Knowledge Points. Temples are one of the options.
They are marked with a red icon on your map when you discover them. Discover the Lost Pages on the temple grounds to complete the task and earn Knowledge Points.
On Awaji Island, there are two temples and their requirements and rewards match the temples from the base game. You can explore the temples at any point before, during, or after the main story from the Claws of Awaji expansion.
Awaji Island is only accessible if you own the Claws of Awaji expansion for Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Interactive Map
On the map below, you can see the locations of both Temples. Click or tap on the markers to see more details.
The map has three layers. The main one shows the locations of the temples on the island. The other two are detailed maps of each temple with markers for the Lost Pages.
Below the map, we have the standard guide segment for each temple, if you prefer your content presented in a more traditional way.
Temples and Lost Pages Locations
On the new island, the Lost Pages are a tiny step up in difficulty to find and obtain. Nothing extreme, of course, but some of them are not just out in the open on the ground or on a roof.
Myoshoji Temple
Myoshoji Temple is located in the middle of the Eshima Coast sub-region, in the northern part of the island. The Myoshoji Lookout viewpoint is near, not far from the north wall of the temple complex.
Lost Page #1
The first Lost Page is inside the northernmost building of the complex. There is no normal entrance to it. You can prone under the floor and emerge on the inside.
There is a movable plank you can interact with to push it down. On the other side, squeeze through the narrow gap between the stacked wooden crates and you will reach the Lost Page.
Lost Page #2
The second Lost Page is in the southeast end of the complex. It’s in an area surrounded by unclimbable rocks.
To reach it, walk up to the southeast corned of the complex’ wall and climb up the tree using the wooden ladder that is conveniently placed there.
Use your hook and jump over inside the water pond. Don’t forget the small treasure chest on the bottom. Then get the second Lost Page. To get out, climb the stone wall on the west side.
Lost Page #3
The final Lost Page is on a branch of the tree in the bottom-right corner of the graveyard in the southwest end of the temple complex.
To climb to get it, you have to start from a tree that is in the west end of the graveyard. A couple of jumps from there across the trees and you will reach the spot.
Kannoji Temple
Kannoji Temple is located in the southwestern part of Sumoto. An easy way to reach it, is to head west from Sumoto city and follow the main road across the island. If you have discovered it, the Sannomiya Lookout viewpoint is not far north from the temple.
Lost Page #1
This one is easily accessible by Naoe. Use your hook to get to the roof of the main temple building. The Lost Page is on the wooden platform.
Lost Page #2
You will find this Lost Page under the southernmost building of the temple grounds. Prone to reach it.
Lost Page #3
To get the final Lost Page, go to the southeast corner and climb outside the temple wall. You will find a wooden platform there. Use your hook to reach the tree and on its wooden platform you will collect the Lost Page.
Rewards
Each Temple brings the same rewards. 500 XP and a Knowledge Point. If you have any XP Boosts active, the XP earned will be increased, but you will always earn a single Knowledge Point from each Temple.
