Andor wins Emmy for Outstanding Writing
The 2025 Emmy Awards took place last Sunday. Episode 9, “Welcome to the Rebellion”, granted Dan Gilroy an Emmy in the Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series category. In his acceptance speech, Gilroy thanked the fans who were very receptive to the show and its message.
Andor was nominated for a couple of categories, and even if many of us believe that the show and its actors deserved more nominations, at least the series made it into some of the “big” categories.
In total, Andor won five Emmy Awards. Here’s the full list:
-Outstanding Writing For A Drama Series
-Outstanding Fantasy/Sci-Fi Costumes
-Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Period Or Fantasy Program (One Hour Or More)
-Outstanding Picture Editing For A Drama Series
-Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Season Or A Movie
Rebuild The Galaxy: Pieces of the Past is out
The new mini-series follows up on the story of Sig and his brother Dev as they continue to explore the galaxy that was created after Sig removed the Cornerstone from the Jedi Temple. Almost every character we’re familiar with has a different role in this new timeline.
First look at Star Wars: Starfighter (kind of)
Shawn Levy, director of Star Wars: Starfighter, shared a picture of Ryan Gosling and Flynn Gray next to the Mediterranean Sea. It’s probably some type of vessel, but we can’t really see much. It’s nice to see that they’re shooting the movie in real-life locations rather than behind The Volume or blue screens.
Directors for Season Two of Ahsoka have been revealed
Season Two of Ahsoka is coming in 2026. It’s still going to take a while before we get any teasers or images, but thanks to IMDb, we know who the four directors in charge of the second season will be.
Like the first season, this one will have eight episodes. Each director will direct two episodes. Dave Filoni is directing the first and last episodes, Jennifer Getzinger (Mad Men, The Penguin) is in charge of episodes two and three, Bryce Dallas Howard ( The Mandalorian, Skeleton Crew) returns as a director for episodes four and five, and Anders Engström (See, Taboo) has episodes six and seven.
Additionally, IMDb also lists three cinematographers who are working on this season. Eric Steelberg (Juno, Hawkeye), Stephan Pehrsson (Black Mirror, Doctor Who), and Barry Baz Idoine (Monster, The Mandalorian).
New Revan Costume by Jazwares
Jazwares revealed their Jedi Knight Revan costume right in time for the spooky season. It features a full tunic, armor, gloves, and the iconic Revan mask.
Since this is the Jedi Knight version, the tunic is white and not black. You can purchase it at Gamestop for $90.
Star Wars #5

Boba Fett: Black, White & Red #1
Boba Fett gets himself into trouble after being sold by a crime lord just after completing a job for him. Empire and the Rebel Alliance are both seeking something, and Boba Fett is the one who can lead them to it.
This new mini-series has only black, white, and red ink. Release date: September 17, 2025.
