Star Wars: Beyond Victory – A Mixed Reality Playset is a new Virtual Reality experience where you can experience Podracing firsthand.
You play as Volo Bolus, a young racer who seeks glory and fame. You will also see other characters who have a connection to the Boonta Eve Classic, which Anakin won in The Phantom Menace.
This is a third-person experience for Meta Quest 3 and 3S. The official trailer gives you a good idea of what to expect.
Hasbro unveils new figures at NYCC
New York Comic Con 2025 is taking place from October 9-12. As with every other Comic Con edition, companies use these events to promote the upcoming releases. This time was Hasbro’s turn.
The highlight of the event is definitely the preview of the Black Series Kyle Katarn figure. A treat for ’90s kids and legends fans. This figure will be part of an upcoming Fan Channel wave for 2026.
Kyle Katarn is a beloved Legends character. Originally the protagonist of the Dark Forces and Jedi Knight games. He was an ex-imperial officer, who became a mercenary for the Rebel Alliance. In Legends, Kyle was the one who stole the plans for the Death Star. Later, he discovered he is Force-sensitive and trained under Luke Skywalker.
Additionally, we also got: Black Series Darth Vader (Duel’s End), Vintage Collection Padmé Amidala, Black Series Boba Fett (Daimyo), Black Series Purge Trooper & Patrol Trooper, and Vintage Collection Shaak Ti.
Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and the Troopers are already available for preorder, while Padmé and Shaak Ti’s pre-order opens on October 28.
