Star Wars Insider’s final issue is coming next year
What began as the Lucasfilm fan Club magazine eventually became the official Star Wars magazine. Interviews, behind-the-scenes stuff, and access to very exclusive content are some of the things this magazine has provided since its creation in 1994.
There is probably no other media that could match the quality and amount of content that Insider has released over the last decades. Sadly, Star Wars Insider is coming to an end in 2026 with issue #237.
To be fair, it’s amazing that they lasted this long in a world where physical media and even many digital magazines got displaced a long time ago by its digital counterpart. The last two issues of Star Wars Insider will be released in early 2026.
The Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts gets an opening date
The Lucas Museum designed by Ma Yansong of Mad is officially opening on S+
eptember 22, 2026. Located in Exposition Park in South L.A., the museum will have two theaters, art, vintage comics, lots of art, multiple galleries, and even a life-size N-1 Starfighter.

Star Wars Celebration 2025 online store coming to you on Life Day
Aside from the biggest announcements, reveals and panels; Star Wars Celebration is also home to some very exclusive merchandise that is created specifically for the event. Art, shirts, tote bags and Star Wars-themed items that you normally wouldn’t see in a standard convention.
Normally, only atendees get direct access to this merch but this year that’s going to change. From November 17 to December 1, people will be able to access the Star Wars Celebration Online Store and purchase some unique items.
It’s important to point out that Celebration atendees will have first access on November 17 at 3 pm P.T. On November 20, the store will open to everyone else. This is probably the last chance to get SWC 2025 items without resorting to resellers. You will be able to see the whole collection on the site a few days before the sell begins.
