New Bad Batch miniseries, Disney launches Droid Factory Friday, new LEGO sets, and everything that happened from December 20, 2025 to January 2, 2026.
First LEGO sets of 2026 are out
The first wave of LEGO Star Wars sets for 2026 is officially out. These eight sets were revealed last month and became available on January 1st.
BB-8 includes the classic black info plaque and standard-size BB-8 figure. It has 569 pieces and will cost $89.99.

The mid-scale AT-AT also comes with the respective Snowspeeder to replicate the iconic Battle of Hoth. It has 525 pieces and will cost $64.99.

The second mid-scale set of this wave is the Venator-Class Attack Cruiser. It has 643 pieces and will cost $79.99.

Grogu’s Homestead is a set for the younglings. It has 107 pieces and will cost $19.99.

The Clone Shock Trooper joins the Star Wars Mech ranks. It has 151 pieces and will cost $14.99.

The Mandalorian and Grogu’s Speeder Bike is coming as an individual vehicle. It has only 58 pieces and will cost $9.99.

We’re also getting Cobb Vanth’s Speeder featuring Cad Bane. This set has 207 pieces and will cost $34.99.

Last but not least is the Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack, which includes Mandalorian Super Commandos and 332nd Clone Troopers. It has 116 pieces and will cost $22.99.

Disney launches Droid Factory Friday
Disney Store and Disney Parks announced Droid Factory Friday, which will have a new droid figure releasing on the first Friday of each month, starting January 2nd, 2026. Each droid is unique and inspired by a droid we have seen in films, series, games, and publishing media.
R5-K6 (A New Hope) is the first one, with CW-24 (The Mandalorian) releasing on February 6, and Q2-K2 (The Clone Wars) on March 6.

This new series brings the upcoming features and enhancements:
Upgraded, intricate design elements, making the droids extra special for collectors and fans.
โข Character trading card included with each droid featuring key details and artwork of the character.
โข Bonus droid pieces will be included with each monthly release. Collect all six initial releases, and in June, you can assemble your own bonus droid (TC-332).

Star Wars (2025) #8
Luke Skywalker and his allies aid in the revolt against the Fenril Consortium, an important character is kidnapped by the Zantarrk Gang, and Valance goes undercover in an attempt to maintain the fragile peace. All of this happens while Luke is trying to connect with his Jedi heritage. Release date: December 24, 2025.

Things get problematic when Fett encounters not one but two skilled enemies. Release date: December 31, 2025.
